That's the same thing the idiot who almost hit me said when he followe me to the grocery store parking lot and tried to start a fight with me because I had the gall to honk my horn at him when he almost hit me. Funny, but I expected a little sympathy from other riders. Looks like I was mistaken. Apparently, I'm at fault for not making him obey the law... Apparently its not enough to be sufficiently situationally aware to avoid the accident, I guess I don't have the right to be upset about it either. Note taken.

Most outrageous shit I've ever seen was me, in the fast lane on I5, riding to work, with a car in front of me, and a car behind me, following at a nice safe distance and BOOM, out of nowhere this shitty land cruiser blasts past me, cuts maybe 15 feet in front of my bike so hard the thing almost rolled, and flies into the fucking emergency lane. A second earlier and he would've taken me out.

So not only that but now there's tons of dust and rocks flying up from the E lane and smacking me in the helmet and chest and he goes tearing down the emergency lane for maybe 1/2 a mile, past about 8 more cars, then swerves all the way back through traffic and takes....

my exit.

So I see this motherf**ker at the bottom of the ramp and what do you know, it's some worthless piece of shit skinny ass 19 year old looking white kid in a massive size XXXL long t shirt smoking a huge joint, hot boxing what's probably his Dad's car.

So I pull up next to him, lay on the horn, and rap on this dudes window with my gloves. Kid looked like he'd seen a ghost, and proceeds to blow the red light and tear off back onto the freeway.

Unfourtantely I was so consumed with potentially punching this guy in the jaw that I didn't think to remember his plate, guy would've got his shit tossed in jail immediately if I cop had seen the inside of that car. I was pissed at myself for days.

Gee, did I claim, imply, or insinuate in any manner that you were at fault?

1) learn to read.
2) get accustomed to idiots in the road. They aren't going away.

I don't think, at least in my case that anyone who has posted disagrees with your anger. It's just the "Nature" of the beast anymore. Remember the rider a couple weeks ago, hit and left to die. That's all we were saying. (your still in one piece) PS And one of the reasons my R1 is in the classifieds right now...AJ

Funny but that behavior doesn't seem to happen when I'm driving my 3 & 1/2 ton lifted PU. That lad would have likely had to explain to Daddy why he nolonger had a drivers side window...AJ

When on a mobile device, hold the your finger on the icon until something pops up along the lines of open link. That will allow you to rep the guy. I know because I have been on this site many times on mobile devices

Same thing happened to me but replace mini van with truck and I was riding 2up. Had to brake and swerve off the road, the idiot literally turned into my side. I just flipped him off and went on my merry way.

The only way to stay alive on public roads is to assume you are invisable. Always assume they will not see you and WILL pull out in front of you. Then always leave enough room to stop or swing around the idiots.

Getting mad and flipping fingers just distracts YOU from PAYING ATTENTION to the next idiot about to take you out.

Right on Kevin - as for we riders - we MUST assume any oncoming vehicle is going to turn left into us - it's fundamental = everyone is going to turn left int you - it's the largest cause of accidents for motorcycles by far - -

...Has WAY too many 4 x 4 drivers thinking THEY own the road, I've had as many issues with them as I have had with minivan drivers. The difference IS the 4 x 4 drivers SEES you and just doesn't believe you have any right to be there.
Either way, I treat both as if they are gonna cut me off and think it's all my fault they did.

Classic.

Today myself and member 'BoseMensch' got to witness the idiocy of a bunch of rednecks peeling out in a dirt parking area so as to create a mini duststorm over the the hiway. Nothing like going through that blind as a bat.
