Empire Bob was gracious enough to give us use of his parking lot (and facilities!) for a swap meet, and TWO MEMBERS bother to show up with stuff! We had a lot of people showing interest, and many of them did just like mcjunky: they drove up, saw a couple of tables with stuff, and drove off! What the hell happened to all the, "Great! I've stuff to get rid of!" folks? I wouldn't blame Bob at all if he tells us to go piss up a rope the next time we look for a venue for an activity. This was pathetic. KevinD |

Met Bob and Dale, hung around for an hour, waited for some stuff to show up. I had my pristine size 14 Thors in my car waiting for some tradeable booty to show up. Was nice to see faces instead of text and was amazed at how many models of Triumphs they make. I dont hold a grudge about no trading bait showing up, but it was sparse By the way, my pristine Thors are $40!. |

We had stuff we wanted to get rid of, but we were busy with other activities all day. Even so, standing in the cold for several hours wasn't high on the priority list. If you do one during prime riding season when the weather is nice, and make it a ride-in social gathering as well as a swap meet, I'm sure it will be successful! Don't be disparaged by the low turnout, I think it was just bad timing. |

Sounds like a good idea, and we'll arrange it. Hang onto your junk (sorry, stuff), until then. |

| Railer Joined: Aug 2008 From: Spokane I Ride: 07 500R Ninja | planning is key to an event, vendors need to be held to a commitment if you sign up to vend or pay a small table fee $5 that holds them to a commitment to show up and SELL....Dyno day combo is a great idea and gives you more time to plan and coordinate. Even the smallest event takes a toll to coordinate....lord knows I have done my fair share of that job! Hope Evan brings that ramp I want to buy it! Call me Evan if you have it please |
