Pretty sure starting a meth lab in their market won't make for a fun first date.
Thanks from CBRJen

^This. And I'll wager that if they have chapters down here...they most certainly have 'em up there.

They, and other groups, have been around for a lot of years in the State. None of them like attracting a lot of attention so you are not going to see ads posted. "Sons of Anarchy" looks and sounds sort of romantic and cool on TV. Not so much in real life. Careful or you may find what you are looking for but it may not be what you want or expect.

Many, many years ago they would rally in Goldendale in the summer. They from all over, camped at Stonehenge and pretty much took over the town for a few days. There were hundreds of them and the locals pretty much left them alone and there wasn't any trouble. I was driving through town and I just had to laugh when one of the GJ's was standing in the middle of the street stopping every car so that he could take THEIR picture. I haven't seen them for years.

You have more than just the GJ in your area, problem is everyones generalization that they are all criminal enterprises couldn't be more wrong. Yes there are a few bad apples within some of the clubs, even in the the 99% clubs, but most all of them are legitimate.

The reason you don't see the 1%ers is they don't do rides recreationally like other clubs do, they live to ride and riding is thier primary, secondary and tertiary means of transportation.

And there are more law abiding 99% clubs (MC, MA, RC, MMC, etc.) in your area than the 1% types.

Well, after loving every minute of the last two years as an unemployed architect, a stay at home dad, a sailor that has no idea WTF he's doing, a piss poor rider, a political news junkie, and arguing with the pnwrider natives on a daily basis...

Wait for it...

I accidentally found myself placed among the recently reemployed in this still wondrous fucking Obama economy. Thank gawd that asshole isn't really the second coming of FDR or we would be fucked for another 5 years or so. Oh wait, he's not done is he? Fuck!

So, now I have two projects. The first one which I have to do construction administration on, I haven't laid eyes on in two years, the drawings were left in a shambles by the guy that just left, and he couldn't be bothered to sit down with me for 5 fucking minutes and let me know what's been fucked up since I left. The second one I have been asked to go from crude conceptual drawings straight to construction docs, nevermind actual schematics and forget any idea of design development. I can do that on the fly right? Sure I can, no prob because I can have a team of four. Well, in truth it was just me until I got one helper last week, who is quite sharp thank gawd, but he's more of a pm than a production guy so I don't know how much he'll be able to produce and I already have a useless pm...me thank you very much, and "we need to think" about the other available hotshots I found. Oh, and gee bluuu, we want to go in for permit in 4.5 months, wait scratch that it's 4 months now, and contruction in 6, wait scratch that it's 5.5 now. And I'm not even going to go into the incestuous nature of various consultants and contractors, not to mention fabricators that has shop drawings before I've even begun construction docs. I mean jfc on a Popsicle stick sister!

In short, I'm having fun again. And... I gots beer money again. Now, if I can just stay out of jail, pass go, and collect 200 hookers.
Thanks from nemisis714

Kewl, Dood. It's about time.

Take the kickbacks and you can toss in the blow with the hookers.

In fairness to him (It is not me! Really!) I was leaving a job and had a set date and time for my departure a MONTH in advance. The company screwed around and the new guy came in with TWO HOURS to spare for me to give a turn over. Luckily for him there were others that were willing to help that I gave info to for him.

Never been offered a kickback. I guess I'm just so obviously oozing integrity that they don't even bother trying. Oh wait. Maybe they just used up all the kickbacks on the contractor. That must be it.

In all fairness to all involved, I'm just joking around. It feels good to be back in the game. I just hope it last for a while. Large swaths of the market are still very soft.
