| Training Wheels Joined: Mar 2008 From: Da Geto,WA I Ride: Yo Momma and on occasions 07 GSXR 600 | I feel like this thread is all full of grown man drama. Females are supposed to have drama but everyone on here is acting like their shoe size and not their age. Myself and other members did not go to the show because it was not a mandatory event. We decided as a group, so for those that were there at the meeting this was known. Sorry if you didn't get the message. I will however state that, whatever Dennis says is strictly what he says and should not reflect the club. Just as if I was on here talking shit to someone, it's me that's doing it not the club. I have rode with most of you guys in Wiki Riders...I refer to you as friends. I don't want this to ruin our friendship in any way, shape, or form. I personally appologize to Marble and CBRme for all this drama. It's a great show. I was there for the last two years. Had lots of fun. I missed it because I made plans this year and it was just bad scheduling. If everyone agrees with me....let's squash this drama and get on with our lives. We don't have a big riding community here in Spokane, it would be foolish the have drama because it would just make everyone feel uncomfortable around each other when we run into one another. So let's act our age and move on. Congrats to Wiki Riders. Congrats to Tony. I know you have spend alot of time on that bike so you deserve to trophy. |

| Superbiker Joined: Sep 2005 From: SPokizzle I Ride: 98 CBR F3 7 stars edition ;) | Got damnit Dennis this is what happens when you don't take your medicine!!! I don't really care who won the show and was deemed the biggest group or what not the whole point of the show is to have fun. Congrats to all who won the trophy's! I for one would have loved to be there but I had to work that morning and then I had to go work at my school's booth at the fair until 6 PM so it made for a very long day for me...I made up for it by watching Chuck Lidell getting knocked the fuck out though ![]() But anyways back to the topic on hand KAOS----as we all know means well and is a little more competetive than he should be at times and this post got wayyyyyyyyyyyyy out of line real quick. Our showing there (FTR) was minimal and I'm ok with that....So what we didn't win any trophy's as a club or individuals that's not the entire point of our MC club. I won't go into details of our MISSION STATMENT and such, but let it be publicaly know that we are here for the community first and foremost PERIOD!~ ANything else we do is all sidebar and ment to be fun and promote COMMUNITY INVOLVMENT amongst member of other riding groups as well as indvidual riders. Once again hats off to WIKI Riders and I hope to see you guys one day possibly dawn a patch and seriously consider becoming a recognized riding group it would be nice to have another riding group here in town and I for one would extend the hand of brotherly love in helping you guys to get started in any way possible if you choose to do such. So moving on from here---I hope everyone enjoyed the show and congrats to all the guys who got to bring home the trophy's! Thank you to Marble and CBRme, and anyone else invloved, for helping to put this thing together. NExT Year FTR WILL be there in full force and we are coming back to reclaim our title ![]() |

Son...although I have to say that whatever any member says reflects on us as a whole. Just want add one thing. Wiki Ridaz are just that...a Riding group. They do not conform to traditional MC or Social MC rules and regulations. If they were to put a Wiki Ridaz MC patch on their back, or even a patch on a vest at all, then the would, or have to face the consequences (you dont wanna fuck around with some of the old time MC's, believe me). Anyways, congrats to them. FTR fully supports any MC/RC/RG/ERC activity in Spokane! Its fuckin awesome to see our Seattle Chapter interact with all of the mc's and clubs in Seattle!!!

Im just saying it like i see it......I would stand up for my friends just like im sure all of you would....thank you for the kind words...I dont think Wiki RIdas will ever patch up or become a club...I could be wrong but whatever...I like it how it is. Maybe we will do a t-shirt of sticket or something...who knows...Anyhow...Im moved on with it...just still think an apology would be nice....it would go a long ways for sure....I know that some good will come out of this...I hope mainly we all can learn how important it is to treat people with respect...and to be positive...... |

Well said...a couple years ago I looked into getting Christ RIders as a club...its not an easy thing to do....you guys wear those patches with pride as Im sure you do...most MC groups take it very serious...in no way are we interested in going down that path....an yes...one person reflects the group...that why there are the rules that go along with it an the whole prospect process etc....but like I said before....no offense to FTR meant or any other clubs......its just one dude runnin his mouth...lol. ...thanks again guys....see you out there on the streets.

FTR is proud of you guys and I know we all look forward to setting up a joint ride together. I'm sorry about the drama on this. Know that FTR is happy to have another group of riders around, regardless of status as MC, RC, SC, etc. CBRme and Marble - Great job again, and I hope we can do some marketing next year to help kick up the attendance even more! | MotoGP Contender Joined: Apr 2006 From: Spokane Valley, WA I Ride: 2K6 HAYABUSA LE | OK, I changed my avatar, and I changed my signature... still doesnt change my opinion. In order to represent yourself as a riding club or a motorcycle club there are certain time honored traditions and codes of conduct, and ethics that are involved/followed which ever way you want to look at it. If you dont like that or disagree with it, it doesnt really matter because thats just the way things go in the motorcycle world. If you had rolled into seattle, or myrtle beach or florida bike show and represented yourselves the way you did, you would of been escorted from the show. And that would of been the end of it. I am NOT the only one that feels this way, I just happen to be the one with big enough balls to say it. Everyone else in FTR is to afraid of the wiki riders not supporting future events, or not comming to FTR functions or that Rocketman will go postal on everyone (if you know him we all know thats not possible hes to mellow) I am not sure what they are afraid of, but they seem to be more afraid of what you guys think then how they really feel (thats just a guess on my part, pure speculation).... I am not going to apologize for the way I feel, I will apologize for the way I said it tho, my language was a little harsh. But I still have the same feeling towards the way it went down or came be. |

| Streetfighter Joined: Jun 2005 From: Spokane I Ride: Wiki Style!! | Once again I disagree...to an extent with Dennis...lol...I like the idea of a stock class....I used to have a 92 Gixer that was pretty sweet for an old bike...but it was bone stock and wouldnt ever compete with some of these other bikes...also my gixer now I not quite stock but there isnt really a class for it...so a stock class and maybe divide it up in old an new...just a thought...and also if you put the bikes in certian areas byt class that might make it better too...so that you dont make dennis throw his bike out on the road... |

| Endorsed Joined: May 2005 From: maple valley, wa I Ride: repsol | the point of the category is to include those who may have had some bad luck while riding or are in the middle of restoring a wrecked or project bike. not everyone who rides will have the money to spend on custom paint or mods. I want them to feel like a part of our riding community. That is what we all are essentially, weather or not you call yourselves a group or club we all ride togeather as one community!! Same with the stock bike class, I noticed one of the nicest cleanest clean older bikes I've seen in a while, and it was completely stock. Kaos.. I do understand your point and while I definatly appreciate your support in the show, I will say that we are not in seattle or myrtle beach. Thats my point! we are just a small town bike show that will try to accept any group or clup representation equally. I think we would all like to keep it that way. Anyone who doesnt like it ....doesnt have to attend its all about the fun, not the polotics! I dont think anyone should be afraid to express their opionon here, thats what makes this website so great. every should be heard, doesnt mean we have to agree. | MotoGP Contender Joined: Apr 2006 From: Spokane Valley, WA I Ride: 2K6 HAYABUSA LE | i agree with everything you guys each said, but the last time you had that catagory a stunt bike won it, and that person never had any intention of rebuilding or repairing his bike. As long as you put in rquirements I support the catagory there was a few times that my bike would have been in it! Luckily I got it fixed... And I said I agree with the stock class, but you have to put in guidelines to it as well, this was a issue at another show this past year where a guy rolled in on a 08 yamaha with his temp tag still on it, won best stock bike, when there were some really cool older stock bikes like rocketmans 87 gixxer he mentioned (he wasnt at that show just using it as example). Everyone was upset that the bike with 16 miles rode from the dealer to the show won the stock catagory... I dont know how that could of been avoided, it was a stock bike after all.... maybe best stock late model, best stock pre90s I dunno just suggestions turtle your bike doesnt count its a daytona |

| Streetfighter Joined: Jun 2005 From: Spokane I Ride: Wiki Style!! | I like the idea of keeping things semi casual in the shows atleast.....but some people take it very serious.....so the different classed are a good thing because it gives people more of an opportunity to place...it just is a good thing all around....it doesnt take away from the commitment the it takes to be part of an MC to let a ride group compete....heck the Grandma Goldwing Riders could have been there and beat us, no offense mant to Goldwing riders...lol....or grandmas....there will always be recognized and respected for the "club" Rspect goes around in many ways...mainly how you treat people.....I personally dont think Wiki Ridas conducted ourselves in any way other than courteous..professional supportive and with any false claims etc...I seriously doubt we would have been escorted...theres no reason to...i guess we will just have to agree to disagree.......we have riding groups and clubs and forums like pnw to make people feel part of the riding community....just ignore the antagonistic ones...lol. Thank you very much for the response....and your kind words....as far as I am concerned with this its over and history. We like having FTR here in spokane too and also anyone else that supports the riding community....were all for that and will do our best to support our fellow riders and their groups. I will admit there is a lot to learn about all of this sorta thing......we are looking forward to heading down the right path as well. Thanks again! | |
