Blues Brother's new name
Those of you that met my dad at our wedding may have noticed the fact that he can be quite a joker. He likes to give nick names out to those he loves; for example I am Number 3 as in daughter #3 - which is why I have a 3 on the front of my bike as well as my helmet . It helps him remember who I am since he always forget my real name - true, he calls me by my little sisters name all the time - but that could just be because she lives with them and her name comes up more than mine. Another nickname he has for me is B-Monie - have no clue why but hey, who's gonna argue with DAD. Anyways I thought this was awesome and thought I share with you all because Dad has given our very own Blues Brothers a new name (perhaps we should consider Dad's Indian heritage to understand how it came about). So let me explain more.

Many of you know Mr. BB had a little fender bender on the wing a couple weeks ago and I told my parents about it via a e-mail. My papa came back with the cutest reply which was (and here’s what you’ve been waiting for) : “I am sorry about the wing but at least LITTLE NAIL was not pounded” So there it is, Mr. BB is now “Little Nail”. OK for those of you that are not getting it, BB’s first name is Brad…. A brad is a little nail. So, let’s have fun with BB and call him by his new nick name

Oh Ya! My mind actually went there first and thought DAD! Then my senses came about me knowing my dad being a christian man and how we've joked about him remember Brad's name (for the wedding LOL) by remember a little nail since he does so much carpentry work. But hey, have fun with it any way you want HEHEHE I'm sure Little Nail can handle it.

Uh oh I think BB just found out about his nick name being public LOL

I told my Pops you were all pickin' on Little Nail and his reply was "Good, if they're pickin' on him then they're not pickin' on someone who can't take it."

Little Nail is not wanting to lose his "Super Biker" name - can't blame him so if any of you jokers can pull off making the name change I guess you better leave Super Biker and make it.....

Super Biker
Little Nail

or Little Nail the Super Biker

FYI = I don't wanna lose my "Superbiker" listing.

Make fun and use "little nail" all you like, but please don't change my listing.

Thanks!

Bye Bye Nail

These brad nailers make life just a little bit easier

After a tornado you can find pieces of straw stuck into trees. "How’s that possible?” you ask. Answer: velocity – the speed of travel. Walk through any home and you will find evidence of the nails that keep it from falling on your head, which is a good thing in and of itself. The solution is glue, but you still need something to hold it in place until the glue dries, and you know, Velcro just doesn’t cut it.

Enter a small nailer with small nails called brads. The brads are 18-gauge (very small but long) and have been on the market for quite a long time.

Today we have Hitachi’s NT32AE Brad Nailer, a Makita AF503 Nailer, the Senco Finish Pro 25XP, the yellow Dewalt D51238 Brad Nailer and last but not least, Porter Cable’s BN200A Brad Nailer.

Of all the pneumatic nailers I own, the basic brad nailer gets used the most in the workshop. Gone are the days of hammers and bruised thumbs... there is a tool for everything! In fine woodworking and cabinetry work, and for many general workshop tasks, a brad nailer becomes a very handy tool to have in your toolbox.

The brad head is found on finishing nails and brads. Usually it is cupped; that is, it has a small depression in the middle of the head that serves to steady a nail set.

brad Definition
brad (brad)

noun

a thin wire nail of uniform thickness with a small head that is sometimes off-center

transitive verb brad′·ded, brad′·ding

to fasten with brads
