Ahh screw it.. Let him have his time in the box.. And then when he comes out, doubt he will find to many friends in the riding community.

for vigilante justice!!!

I think you should find a competing drug lord and inform them of Cody and Nicole's actions, their myspace pages, address, pictures, vehicle info....hopefully they're a motorcycle rider. If drug lord happens to be catholic...plant some upside-down crosses at the Murphy house.

Sit back and watch the drive-by's...of if they're profession just wonder where the bike-stealing pot-heads disappeared to...

Arrest does not mean conviction. Conviction does not mean any real jail time. I'll be happy when this guy is locked up.

well, i'm betting the marijuana with intent to deliver is going to net him more jail time then "possession of stolen property." The guy that stole my g/f's 300zx was arrested on possession of stolen property in the first degree, but the court knocked it down to possession second degree.

He was clearly caught red handed to. Admitted stealing it to the cops. Good read if anyone wants to. stolen black 1990 300zx everett area

I can appreciate the passion you all have for riding, and how angry you would be if your bike was stolen....That being said, please remember, nobody's been found guilty of anything. It's very possible that the parties involved simply bought some used parts not knowing that they were stolen. Does the media not have a way of sensationalizing their stories? The pot, of course, is hardly a concern of this forum. The kid obviously lives with his mother. Threatening her property and or family is probably not the brightest thing to do in this forum, agree? I completely empathise with the way you feel, but sadly, a little embarrased at how you express it. Are we not better than that?

Woah...so thats why three bikes reported as stolen were at his house? I guess he likes to buy his parts a whole bike at a time...

Um, how do you know conclusively he lives with his mother? To me, it would appear he lives with his GF, who was also busted for drugs in the same raid.

To each his own on smokage, but having enough to be branded with "intent to deliver" = D-bag in my book. If you have that much, you're either beyond the "recreational" stage or you buy in bulk and hook your friends up...like his buddies on MySpace are so open about discussing.
True, it may not be a concern of yours or mine, but some members of this board are his neighbors...so, yeah...having a guy dealing a couple blocks away is a concern for them.

You're obviously new (welcome, BTW!), so I can't blame you for seeing what could appear as malice in what we're saying.

You don't know us from Adam, so you have no idea if we're just a bunch of geeky online types who happen to love motorcycles, or a bunch of miscreants carrying socks full of ball-bearings and old chains...and its really a shame you chose the assumptive prejudicial downlook angle on that. Truth is, we mostly fall in the former catagory, not the latter.

Don't worry, none of us intend to do any damage. We're just collectively blowing off steam pent up from many bike thefts past and have no desire to act beyond our posts.

However...I will remind you, since you are new to the forum, that one of the most obnoxious and annoying newb mistakes is to jump in the middle of the conversation without knowing the people involved and the full story...or at least reading the rest of the thread a bit closer.

Peace.

taxpayer information for the house shows the owner is SWENHAUGEN, SHELLY R and that they live at the same address.

Where was that posted in the thread? Publicly available, yes...but far from "obvious"...and the names aren't the same either.

Sounds like the owner didn't want to go through the trouble of changing their tax records when they rented it out. I'm pretty damn sure those two don't own it...

I am glad they caught them. With 3 different bikes I would say that he knew what he had. Punks like this should have thier hands removed. Clearly a class act douche.
