EPIC. good job PNW'ers, kind of reminds me of the "hook thief" up in Canada who stole that Skyline on a "testride," and the beyond.ca members fuckin used crazy detective skills to track down and (literally) box in the culprit with their cars and such..... I think it's threads like this that potential theives should see before they f**k with the possessions of PNWR.  |

Honesty involves not buying stolen parts. There's no other reason why WSP would have taken the bike. The "I didn't know they were stolen!" is no excuse. Cheap engines and parts form the same place, no shit sherlock. As for the VINS being legit. On 2 bikes, one with blown motor and one with no motor....eh possible but highly unlikely. Sounds like standard chopshop procedure to me. Whether the frames are legit or not doesn't matter. The fact is he had enough stolen parts for the WSP to take a real interest. Not only that he had plenty of weed. we are a group of honest people (when it comes to motorcycles, dunno about anything else). Anything involving theft is like hitting us in the balls. I hear, almost daily, how all the officer's are as bad or worse than the offenders. Riiight. That's why some of these guys have fallen 3, 4 or 5+ times, and most of us have never even been arrested once. Because I'm just as bad. Most of them also blame someone else, and try to lessen the importance of the crimes they have committed.

Still ... know people who have purchased wrecked/parts/salvage bikes or engines wo/ criminal intent. "enough stolen parts for the WSP to take a real interest" - Have to assume we are talking about engines here bc what else can they track?
