So, I finished a lot of work on my bike today. While it was torn down ... i got a gnarley idea. What do you think? I always did love street fighters ...

It would look OK if you remounted the headlight and got a more attractive gauge cluster. Stuff that clamps right to the forks and triple clamp.

I like the full fairing look myself. You have a great lookin' 750.
What you want/like is all that matters though.

It was just meant to give a good idea of what it might look like, obviously it would need a bit of fabrication and a lot of clean up.

So did mine, but all of the plastics were cracked or broken where they mount. I couldn't handle all the rattling and loose bits.

It would stop people from thinking its a 250 though ... that happens a lot. And other bikers frown at my apparent 250

Tell them it is a 250, then challenge them to a race.

Oh yeah, just to make it clear, I have the plastics back on and it will be that way for a couple months .. but I was thinking of a fun project for this one when I step up to a newer bike next season.

When you step up to a newer bike, how much will you want for this one?

I plan on keeping it because it is so comfy for long trips. But if i run into (more) trouble and need to sell it, i would probably put it up for 2000.

I Ride: but not on the street.
More than two. Every time I see them I kind of hope their foot gets caught in their chain, as mean as it is.

Ouch.

I rode in shorts back in the days of my Interceptor 500. I also rode wasted out of my mind... Not good.

I should pull that thing out and get it running again... It's been sitting in a barn for over 5 years.
