im not sure which roads we need to take to stay on pavement...theres about a thousand roads and most of them turn into forest service roads...but we'll find something. if you guys wanna take a look mapquest manastash road, ellensburg wa. youre gonna have to zoom in and its a bit out there. but, i hear some of the roads stay paved for a LONG time....

I rode manastash until it turned into gravel and that was when I almost shit myself, good thing I have a habit of using both brakes.

How far up? Do you know which turns you took? That road just kind of splinters into a ton of different ones...

Manastash is not as good as taneum... you guys know the road that parallels i-90? you go out thorp cemetary road and it hooks up with the taneum canyon.... that's pavement much farther up in the woods than manastash and it's fun high speed corners with no traffic during the week. After we get done there i can show you guys a fun trip to south cle-elum alonng elk heights road and then back along hiway 10. We end up at the hwy-97 hwy-10 intersection right by pilot.

Done it a few times at high speed... a couple of houses, but just be courteous around the heavy areas.... there's a couple of cool sections where you can rip loose with no consequence.

i'll check back all day tomorrow until the ride. just let me know.
You guys game? It'll probably take a total of 1:45 2 hours at most....

the elk heights road is good. nic and I have done it like 4 times...I know matt and will have done it at least twice. I was looking for something new.

And matt, googleearth works for a while...and then the resolution turns to crap...

Oh well, we turned around and ralied highway 10...that was the fastest i've ever gotten back to Eburg from Cle elum ever....you guys woulda had fun....if we hadn't have stopped for gas we mighta beat ya back =P

I think you're right, i actually hit my fastest speed on that first straightaway on hwy 10... the sucky part is we were less than a mile or two from the freeway where you all turned around... oh well, it was definately fun and we'll have to do it again.
