If you look at Googlemaps, it shows as Co 5140, Deadwood Creek Rd, right at the PO
The map has an error and shows the road as stopping just past Alpha Farm. It keeps going.
It's then shows as Lower Deadwood Creek Rd to the west (left) and DCR going rightish. There's a definite intersection there, go left. You go up LDCR about a mile and turn right onto NF 35/Brooks Rd. You'll know you're on the correct road because it switchbacks up and over, then down to Lobster Valley Rd. The name changes on the map, Preacher Creek Rd on the north end. Not sure you'll see any signs on this stretch of road
While it looks hard to follow on the map, it's the main road, so just keep going until you find the sign that says Lobster Valley and points right.
Again, I haven't been down it in years, unsure of the pavement quality or quantity.
You know...if no one sets up a ride for Saturday, I may take Grace (my comfy bike) & go exploring. That'd be a neat loop. 36 -> Deadwood Creek -> Alsea Falls. Thanks for the tip, man.

Awesome. I'm thinking we'll have a pretty good group. Looking forward to seeing you out tomorrow night. I can't go Sunday...I'm going out to Ona Beach for Rod's Day to Ona Beach. Free food & a metric shit-ton of Triumphs. Have fun up at the scooter races.
