About 1700 miles. No Vegas, no big deals, just a nice drive up the coast. Got my QMED oiler MMD which was the whole purpose. Last weekend did the tourist thing, zoo, museums, Gaslamp district, old ships etc. Had a sick condo right on Mission Beach and its famous boardwalk (more like a big concrete sidewalk lol) for last 4 days. Sick of SoCal, its weather ( got tired of 70 and sunnny everyday!), shitty water, all the empty headed Paris Hilton wannabes,... Took the long way back from SoCal. About 1700 miles.

Good to be home.

Surprisingly very few bikes on the street there. Very few actually in my whole driving down and back.
Decided against hanging and renting a bike for a few days. If I was a young Cat that whole scene might be more appealing but not now.
Just gonna chill and get my scoot out in a few days. Then its back to school for last MMD and start shopping for a berth after the new year.
Might go for a dirt bike ride to blow the smog and cobwebs out.

As most of you know, I am heading out hopefully for bigger and better things. Going back to the east coast to ride with the Flor'idiots' for a while.

Hopefully this will be a good time to meet up with everyone again, and I'm always cool with meeting new people too, even though I'm leaving.

I'd love to do a ride too, weather pending.

I want to get an accurate head count to see how many people love me, lol.

I got my orders this morning and will be leaving here 18 December. We are heading back to Florida with all the bugs, long flat straight roads that are going to get me into trouble again. Oh yes, and the heat (which I'm not looking forward to).

It's been an awesome trip with all of you. Sad to say I must go.
To think I've been out here for a few years, and just got on the forum this past Jan. The people on here, some I would consider family. We have definitely had some amazing rides, trips, bike nights, eat outs, etc. Thanks to all those who have helped me this past year with maintenance and mods, and even before with pushing me into getting on here.

Wednesday Night Rides was amazing for the most part. Thanks again to all of you for your hospitality in this beautiful region!

WOOHOO!!!!! I wiped out for the first time!!!!! XT down!!!

Sooooo.....I found this great area to practice dirt ridin' stuff. Land cleared for future big box stores. Lots of good ruts, mud, puddles, varied terrain, but nothing scary for a newb. Just a place to practice standing on the pegs, gripping with my legs, let the bike slide around, etc.

Then....goin' about 30, muddy puddle, mossy corner.....WHOOP:shock: I was down.crackup: Got up, yelled F*** YEA, hit the kill switch and picked the bike up. Bent right handguard, but otherwise fine. Tough little bike.

YOU KNOW that I was geared up. Prolly gonna have a sore neck and right shoulder later........
