Seemed slick to me the other day - there are glossy patches here & there and that's where it felt slick. Maybe I'm just being paranoid...:shock:...but I haven't felt it on other roads around here.

Took Chapel Rd to Grange Hall Rd home from work last night - almost got taken out twice by deer, once on each road. Didn't see them deer until I was a few feet away from them in my lane, because oncoming car headlights blinded me (damn cages!). It looks like a few new faces I haven,t met. I not out to snub any one, I just get out and ride when I can which this summer wasn't as much as I would have liked.

I did run into tbolt in Salem at a Bike shop while I was shopping one week end, she's always freindly and willing to say hi.

Now that Winter is on my heels I'll be focusing on the dirt riding as often as I can.

My first effort resulted in getting pieces of one and it was mondo sticky underneath. I tried hot water to soften the adhesion, no work so well! How about hot air? How about some kind of chemical remover? How about sanding (I expect to experiment with that this evening)?

Any ideas?
