Took Chapel Rd to Grange Hall Rd home from work last night - almost got taken out twice by deer, once on each road. Didn't see them deer until I was a few feet away from them in my lane, because oncoming car headlights blinded me (damn cages!). Riding in the rain at night on back roads might be hazardous to your health.

Recommendations for Ohlins work?

I am getting my hands on a nice, low-mileage Ohlins rear shock for the VFR. Unfortunately, it is set up for someone who outweighs me by 50 pounds so I need to have it reworked for my weight and riding style. Does anyone have any recommendations for an experienced Ohlins service center? Obviously, I can send it back to Ohlins USA, but I thought I would see what the PNW Riders recommend.

Misty has some new toys and we want to check things out. Doing a run around Alsea Falls through Lobster Valley and out to 34 at Five Rivers Road and back via 34 with a possible run up Mary's Peak if time allows.

I'm not planning on setting any records and this would be a good ride for anyone to join in on.

Meeting at Creekside at 1:30 or so and kickstands up at 2:00.

Rain or shine. Head to Kernville and turn north, heading up to Tillamook for cheese curds and salmon jerky. Return via 22 to 18 and then down through Kings Valley. Lunch stop along the way, just not sure where.

Come on out, speed with be dependent on who is with me. In other words I promise to behave myself:evil4:

Just thought I would drop a shout out to the Albany/ Corvallis people. It looks like a few new faces I haven,t met. I not out to snub any one, I just get out and ride when I can which this summer wasn't as much as I would have liked.

I did run into *tbolt* in Salem at a Bike shop while I was shopping one week end, she's always freindly and willing to say hi.

Now that Winter is on my heels I'll be focusing on the dirt riding as often as I can.

So anyway, Hello all!

I think it'll make a sweet little cafe bike. We're looking forward to getting our hands dirty and learning a lot.

Removing Graphics - How?

I'm trying to remove graphics from an r6, 2005. My first effort resulted in getting pieces of one and it was mondo sticky underneath. I tried hot water to soften the adhesion, no work so well! How about hot air? How about some kind of chemical remover? How about sanding (I expect to experiment with that this evening)?

Any ideas?

Thanks
