Legendary Spanish Trials manufacturer Ossa will be back with an all-new motorcycle called the TR280i.

The bike will be first shown at the Milan motorcycle show on Tuesday November 10.

It’s the first time the Spanish motorcycle manufacturer has built a motorcycle since it went bust in 1982.

The Spanish firm, made famous for its trail and trials bike also won four 250GPs on a road race bike ridden by Santiago Herrero.

He won at Yugoslavia in 1970 and three GP races in 1969 in Spain, France and Belgium, They withdrew from road racing after he died at the 1970 Isle of Man TT.

The relaunched Ossa company has an all new website with some incredibly cool old footage of its bikes from the seventies.

They’re expected to also launch a road-based trail bike next year according to sources.

The firm also has a range of retro clothing including a Belstaff-style trials jacket that is a replica of the one worn by British trials rider Mick Andrews, the 1971 and 1972 European trials champion.

The policies were set out in an email to a customer who was ordered to remove his open-face helmet halfway through filling up.

Dan Moorcroft, 33, complained after the fuel cut off mid-flow while he filled up at the Somerfield Texaco station in Leamore, Walsall.

He said: “This is the first time I have ever been asked to remove my open-face helmet.”

A Somerfield spokesman said staff found riders in helmets intimidating “because they can’t see their face”. Asked about the policy on open-face helmets she said: “I don’t know what an open-face helmet looks like. I’m not a biker.”

The store said in a statement: ‘It is our policy to ask all customers at Somerfield petrol forecourts to remove helmets and other headgear.

'This is to help staff verify the age of the customer but also to help police with enquiries should they need to review CCTV footage if a stolen bike is driven into the petrol station, a bike is stolen from the forecourt or a customer drives off without paying for their fuel.’

Asked why a rider wouldn’t be earthed simply by putting his feet down, the spokesman said: “I have given you all the information I have on this.” He said the policy was “under review”.

We also asked how many fires had started in this way and were told: “I do not have access to any records which would allow me to tell you.

“Somerfield policy is not designed to discriminate in any way against motorcyclists but to ensure the safety of all our customers and staff members,” the spokesman added.

When I did, something popped in either my hand or my wrist, not sure which. Ouch! Now it's sore in a straight line from the middle joint of my ring and middle fingers, through my hand, and 3/4 of the way up my forearm.

I can move my fingers normally, so nothing's broken or dislocated, it's just sore. And my wrist has full freedom of movement without pain. But when I forget and try to hold or pick something up, it hurts like hell throughout that whole straight-line area for 10-15 seconds. (I've also been dealing with tennis elbow in the same arm for a few months, so the whole arm is pretty much useless now. Which sucks, because I'm right-handed.)

Has anyone else ever had this type of injury, maybe can shed some light on what the hell I did to myself? So there they are... getting the parts this week so I can ride again! woot! Sorry again for a second post... im not an attention whore I promise...:tard:
Here is the story again ...OKi... ... I came into the 25 mph corner probably about 60 or so im guessing... came around almost through it following my friend. Then I felt my peg scrape... And I hit so hard my bike started to wobble and I had to stand it up... I proceeded to wobble and head toward the ditch... I panicked at the last moment before gravel/dirt and grabbed the front brake putting me into an awkward low side... I am guessing I was only going like 40 or 30 mph when I hit the ground... I slid on the right side of the bike...
