Shoe Tree Tour?

While out for a ride today I rode past a shoe tree. It was pretty neat to see. I wish I had my camera. While out with the wife last year we came across another shoe tree. Maybe this can be the beginning of a continuing thread/post.

Perhaps we could identify the location of the shoe tree and pictures of the tree.

Maybe set up a shoe tree tour or something, what you all think.

I’ll go back out for a ride and take my picture and post it, that’s if I can figure out how to post...

Went for a ride from Hermiston this afternoon between 12:00 & 14:00. While I was my wind riding it began to sprinkle. I really couldn't get the water to evaporate from screen/face shield. Well after getting back to the house I removed my helmet and noticed it wasn't wet. The crap on my face shield looked like splashed ash. The stuff was on all over my bike and leather jacket.

I got home and made some calls to the local news, they had no idea, so I called the national weather service. My phone call was the second one they received at the time.

The local news paper had me come by so they could take some pictures of the helmet. I wanted them to get a shot of the FJR, you know.

Came home and washed the bike twice and my truck and the chicks car.

What the hell could this be. When I signed into the internet there was a story about meteors over Utah, who knows. I bet this crap affected the air craft flying through the clouds.

Had a good time at Starbucks Sunday. Was nice to see Scott, Lee, and Jim. I think Lee and Jim went for a ride. Scott and I went steelhead fishing, caught nothing. Turned out to be a nice day.

I was bored the other day and thought I would look at some of the history of PNWRiders. I went back to the first to the latest posting for the Hermiston area. It's pretty cool to read some of the postings.

Too bad there aren't more postings as of late. Ran out of things to read and went to the Tri-cities site and read through some of them. Some of the old bikes that are pictured in the postings are still around. I must confess though I go to the postings and scan quickly for pictures....

Too bad there aren't more postings as of late. Ran out of things to read and went to the Tri-cities site and read through some of them. Some of the old bikes that are pictured in the postings are still around. I must confess though I go to the postings and scan quickly for pictures. I guess that’s why I subscribed to Play Boy for 15 years. Once I found that there were words in the book I quit subscribing, don't care much for their opinion.

Oh well, if anyone has a hankering for a ride on the Sunday, that’s when the chick is home and she likes to come along if it isn't too damn cold.

Went last weekend to Heppner. Man what a nice ride. No traffic (of course), blue skies, and not to cool for me but my passenger was kind of fidgety on the back.

I'll be looking for your posts, remember we don't have to be so loyal to the Tri-cities site, lets post local and maybe it's time for another bike night. Maybe on a Saturday in Hermiston.

Thank goodnes for spell check, cant believe how many times i spell the as hte.

I'm headed down to Las Vegas to race this weekend. I am meeting up with some friends in Hermiston on Thursday night and tossing all my stuff into the big trailer for the trip down. I need to find a safe place to park my truck and trailer from Thursday night until Monday night. If anyone has a good safe place I can do that I would be very grateful.

I am just trying to keep my wife from having to drag the kids down with us to to drop me off, then drive home, and repeat again on Monday. She hates driving my truck especially with the trailer.
The closer to I-84 the better.
