FT: 2007 Yamaha R6

2007 Yamaha R6. Bone stock and in perfect condition, never down. 2900 miles, tabs good thru November 2010. Clean and clear title.

Crap time of year to sell a bike, I know, but I would consider the following bikes in trade ....
Triumph Scrambler / Bonneville
BMW F650GS, preferably a Dakar
Aprilia RSVR (2004+)
Ducati 748/749/916/996/998/999/Monster
Or maybe something interesting and old (NO Harleys or cruisers!)
I may also consider a car/truck of similar or lesser value ... maybe!

I've been debating selling the FJR for two years now. The time has come. I've also sold the VFR so I will be bikeless until spring when the FJR sells. I'm offering up the FJR as is, returned as close to stock as easily possible, or you can configure the farkles you want to keep. I've priced the farkles at approximately 50% of what they would cost if you went out and bought them...but they're already installed.

My bikes are always well maintained and well taken care of.

Can take more...

Scratches on one hardbag:
- Bit embarrassed to admit this, but after washing the FJR one day I backed the truck out of the garage without moving the hardbags that I had sitting behind the truck on the driveway. Hit one with the truck wheel and pushed it along the driveway a few feet scratching up the top of it when it fell over behind the wheel.
Absolutely firm at $2,500 -- the bike WILL sell at this price. Leaving for a trip to Tokyo soon so it needs to go. This bike WILL go another 50k trouble free miles -- impeccable mechanical maintenance. Test rides with cash in hand / signed waiver. Email me with your phone # and i'll get right back to you.
I'm looking for a motorcycle for my old man thats similar to an early 1980s Suzuki GS500 or Kawasaki KZ400. I'm looking to avoid points and would like to keep the engine displacement between 350-650. Also twins cylinder bikes are prefered to four cylinder bikes.

Please no Kick Start Only Bikes. (Also, if you have a Honda Trail 90/110 I'm in the market for one of those as well)
