After doing the little tour - read torture ride from hell for me - with you I can honestly say you ride as fast as I am comfortable going on the street. You dropped me a couple times and I had to play catch up.

I Ride: to forget!
how are the BT016s holding up in coldweather/rainyday riding? Ive heard opinions across the board, makes it hard to pick a tire. I run the Pilots now and quite frankly I have had no problems with them. the new 2cts have the same compound as the pp, just a softer compound on the outsides, so i dont see any life increases and are a bit spendy, two of my friends, one with corsas and one with dunlops complain of slippage in the rain, I dont want those on my bike! Also I noticed sidewall differences like a 190/50/17 versus a 190/55/17, again big difference in price, some manufacturers only offer one or the other. Whats the difference other than the obvious sidewall/profile, is it preference? can you run either? affect on lean in? smoother corner transition? steeper tire pitch? One crowns more one crowns less?

Krautburner posted those prices on the pp 2cts, but for the 190/55/17 the cost I believe is 369.99, 80 dollars difference between 190/55 and 190/50!
