Did a ride from Coeur d'Alene over the Cascade Highway (which is AWESOME! BTW) to the WA coast and back. Turned out to be exactly 1200 miles. Annnndddd.... NO CRASHING or TICKETS! ![]() My dad took his BMW R1100GS with nearly 100,000 miles. I call it the caravan he can pack so much crap on it. ![]() We are cheap bastards so we don't pay for lodging. We find an out of the way spot and throw down a tarp and some sleeping bags. My three favorite parts of the trip were: 1. Mount Ranier. The ride in was awesome, the road was awesome, and the view was AMAZING! 2. North Cascade Highway is dah bomb diggity. Especially with 0 cops and no traffic. 3. Highway 101 had some great twisties as well. Pics to follow. ![]() ![]() Port Townsend ferry. ![]() Ross Dam park? I think? ![]() I'll add more when I get the other camera tomorrow. |
