I think KTM has you covered... 530 EXC-R for real trail riding, light dual sport action: ![]() 690 Enduro for light trail riding, dual sport & street action: ![]() Or if that's STILL not big enough, there's the monstrous 950 Super Enduro: Any one of those would be 5,000 times better in the dirt than any sport bike with knobbies could ever hope to be. |

| Superbiker Joined: Jan 2009 From: Vancouver, WA I Ride: 04 Kawi ZZR 1200 | Considering you don't need that much torque to the ground before you are out of traction, and the fact that he was into the rev limiter on virtually every clip, an R6 seems like it would make a better choice for a dirtslingin frankenbike, lot's more rpms on an R6 if you're just gonna run it in a quasi-flat track aplication like they are. It's a good place to learn how to drift an R1 though. I wanna see it hillclimb. That would be worthy video.Last edited by Fast Eddie 919; 07-13-2009 at 11:10 AM.. |
