do you ever make motorcycle noises?
i often find my self making the noise of a bike revving up and shifting through gears. sometimes i get funny looks from strangers in public when i am pushing a shopping cart around, leaning and making engine noises in the store ... its bad, like i have a drug addiction or something and i have withdraws after a few minutes of not riding.

I missed the shopping cart part the first time... you mean you don't pop wheelies with your shopping cart and make little throttle blip noises at the balance point?

Or am I the only one that does that?

It sure is. A much better segue would be, "do you make PEW PEW PEW noises with guns, your fingers, wiener dogs, etc?"

I make motorcycle noises every morning after I wake up and sit upon the throne. This bike is a hard starter, you get a couple of putts, then it fires up into a high idle, then the choke kicks off and it settles into a nice rumble, then it sounds like it runs out of gas. No Joke, daily routine.

I work in a bike shop, so every time I go to the back for parts I always have to walk past the Harley parts guys and I make sure to either make two stroke or 600cc i4 noises. Customers think I'm a bit off there...

For the record my wife died laughing when she read this post. She kept pointing at me and laughing about how much of an idiot I am and how funny it is that someone else is as mentally unstable as me. Apparently I also do it with shopping carts in the grocery store (I don't remember doing this)

I bought my bike and a month later was sidelined with vertigo. I walked into the garage every day, and was only able to sit on it and make motorcycle noises. I was even dizzy just sitting on the bike without moving. It was not a fun 8 months.

as I'm walking around the office, I twist the air throttle, and even downshift with an air clutch when I come to a corner.

Done it for years...

Indeed.....If we're talkin' Hagar....Lyric change that comes up is....I can't RIDE fifty-five!!!!

With this one, I sometimes feel the need to get out of the kitchen and lap the dining room a couple of times.

Guilty. Me and the SO were driving (yuck) to Silver Falls state park through some wonderful twisties (damn it damn it damn it) and I was making noises, shifting, and leaning. She was busy laughing and trying to keep the car on the road.

I can't wait til our little boy can appreciate wheelies in the stroller accompanied by 10k rpm daddycycle noises.
