| Zone Head Joined: Jun 2008 From: Vancouver, WA I Ride: year 'round | How often do you flip the bird to a cager? Inspired by a post a saw in the PDX thread. I haven't flipped my middle finger at someone in a long time now, but on occasion when someone does something particularly retarded, I've pulled in front of them, looked back and flipped em' off. |

I understand how flipping off someone will make me feel better, however it will make everyone watching think I'm an asshole; an asshole on a sportbike. I really don't want to contribute to the stereotype of sportbike riders being ill-spirited people so I'll (metaphorically) bite my tongue, shake my head, and roll on; hopeing that the people viewing consider sportbike riders in general to be good people. |

| Newbie Joined: Jul 2009 From: Salem, OR I Ride: '07 ZX-14 and '09 CRF450R | I don't usually, but Sunday I did twice. My girl and I made it out to Sweet Home when the rain started and we headed back toward Salem, then we got stuck in that heavy downpour, then found stopped traffic on I5 North, still South of Albany. Some jackass locked up his brakes in front of me, causing me to nearly hit him and have to quickly veer around him. Then I caught up to the tard in the fast lane doing 35mph with nobody at all in front of him, but a 100 cars lined up behind him. Why can't people understand the left lane is the passing lane? As I'm sure you guys know, the faster you go, the drier you stay, well we got soaked. Who knew it was gonna rain like that? ![]() |

Like a few weeks ago I was headed out, stopped at a stoplight. Guy pulls up in the RIGHT TURN ONLY lane, okay, he's going right. WRONG. He goes straight ahead through the intersection. About halfway through, I lay on the horn and look right through his OPEN window. He looks right at me, then speeds up. I flipped him the bird, what an a-hole. If I hadn't honked and gotten his attention, he probably would have swerved right into me. |

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has random people f*ck with them on the road. That is SO messed up. They need to be shot in the face. ![]() | |

Like the no-good b h that tried to merge into me from a position behind me and to my right as we were getting onto I-90 on the way to work one morning. Yeah, she got the salute. Flippin' ![]() EDIT: If I could manage carrying around a portable airhorn, I would use that instead. Last edited by RedVFR; 07-13-2009 at 10:14 PM.. |

When I flipped the kill switch back on and timed the other hand with the massive KABOOOM from the exhaust lighting all the raw fuel in the pipe, it was priceless to see people shit themselves, if for only one brief moment.... Damn, I miss that bike. It just doesn't work with these FI bikes anymore? I know, it was quite the dick move but, it was very satisfying. |

| Washington (VA) ![]() Joined: Dec 2008 From: Spokane Valley, WA I Ride: a Triumph, and whatever else they'll let me test ride. | I usually shake my fist at them. But it has to be a near accident. I was getting off of I-90 about 2 weeks ago, at the Argonne exit. There are two right turn lanes, and I was in the far side turn lane. A Blue SUV in the lane next to me turns right, as the light turns green, and proceeds to turn into my lane. I had to get over in a hurry (fortunately there was room) to avoid being crushed by him. That one made me mad. Of course, a truck had been messing with me on the freeway just prior, so I was already on the verge of angry. |

| Superbiker | I tend to be very wary of throwing the bird on the bike; people in Arizona have been run down by cars for less, and being that I need a CPL in WA to Open Carry a weapon I'd rather just get their plate # and call it in if they are being dangerous. |
