Some of us have flushed more salt water than you have ever seen. It's been a while since I have used that. Last edited by fastfoodfred; 07-18-2009 at 10:29 PM..

I logged in just to say you are a dumbass. Track riding is a physically and mentally straining exercise for top-notch athletes. Try running decent laps consistantly for 20 minutes and you'd be approaching exhaustion--this is partially due to why there are so many crashes towards the end of track days.

| Superbiker Joined: Apr 2007 From: Kennewick, Washington I Ride: '08 Ducati 848 street , '03 R6 race (for sale), '07 R6 race | I used to make fun of my buddy who races because he would come off the track and complain about being tired. He was racing 2 bikes in 3 classes. I was doing track days so I "knew what it was like" to be out there. And I wasn't tired at all. Then he went out with me and picked up the pace and I was trying to keep up. When I finally saw just how fast he was actually riding I was very surprised. I was riding in the slower group then. Now I'm racing. I'm still not as fast as him but I am WAY faster than I was before. And now I know why he was tired. I could fall asleep riding out with the C group. Not to knock any C group riders. But there is a big difference between riding in the C group or even B group sessions compared to the A group. You are entitled to your opinion. But I think if you were fast enough to be riding in the B group, let alone the A group, you would have a different opinion. And the real kicker is the A group is NOTHING compared to the pace the MOTOGP guys are running. |

When I can relax, I go much faster and with less energy. I think the work out part is that we are fighting ourselves. Edit: Your mind is the most powerful tool for going fast, not your body. | Superbiker | ![]() ![]() To race I need... Imagine that focus, endurance and agility. You don't pull race times just cruising around the track and dragging knee doesn't mean you're fast. I'll go ahead and define athlete for you again.. ath·lete Listen to the pronunciation of athlete Listen to the pronunciation of athlete Pronunciation: \ˈath-ˌlēt, ÷ˈa-thə-ˌlēt\ Function: noun Etymology: Middle English, from Latin athleta, from Greek athlētēs, from athlein to contend for a prize, from athlon prize, contest Date: 15th century : a person who is trained or skilled in exercises, sports, or games requiring physical strength, agility, or stamina You just proved you're a troll. |

it was a joke you idiot...and from the 3 times i have been to the track has made me a better rider on the street, like i said this is what i felt when i rode the track, im not a motoGP guy and i can only imagine the focus they need to race, my point is anyone can be a good racer with the right tools, and this is retarded arguing over something so stupid, i made a statement i believe in, i don't give a shit what you think you have your opinions and i have mine...end of story. i played varsity baseball went to state champoinships and won 2 out of 4 times.like i said if i had the time and money i would definately spend it going to the track. 3rd weekend of august i will be at the track getting a run in before deployment...
