Thaloc on this forum clued me in on the deal and it was too good to pass up! I am so excited about this new purchase! I lets me keep my R1 as a dedicated track bike and not have to switch plastics back and forth! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I rode both of them today, back to back, and I am not sure what to think! The R-6 felt nibble, agile but weak! The R-1 Felt planted, refined, and powerful! I am not sure how guys turn similar lap times in, on both! |

Mine doesn't even hint at making any power until the tach swings past 10k rpm, and that is just a hint. 12k and it starts to think about it and 14.5k the party's over. Wanna race? at a trackday of course. Good to hear from you, Shag-nasty. |

The bike is still being broken in! I haven't red lined it yet! 12K is the most I put on it! Break in service on Friday! The other thing I noticed is how hot the bike runs! At freeway speeds the R-1 is right at 162C and the R-6 is between 184 and 200! I never get the fan to come on on the R-1 and the R-6 seems like around town, the fan is always coming on and off! BTW where were you on Monday? I looked for you at the Track, you didn't miss anything, Me unpacking everything just to repack everything! It sucked! I am cool though, heading down to PIR for the NEBSA Track day on the 29th and grass valley on the 1 and 2nd. Pretty happy to check those two tracks out! I think I will haul both bikes and see whats what! LOL | |

I am told a full system will allow it to run cooler, which makes sense! Anyone with a full system can chime in here! |

Custom LED Integrated Taillight 2. Flush Mount Smoke Blinkers 3. Graves License Plate Bracket 4. Leo Vince Moto GP Exhaust 5. Targa Tank protector! The Pipe got rid of the EXUP Valve. I must say before the bike felt weak and sick, now with the pipe is seems like it runs cooler, sounds healthy, feels more powerful and looks much better! Worth every penny if you ask me! Got a couple of parts I am waiting on and will update next week! ![]() ![]() |
