Talking Free dyno test day!
This Saturday July 18th EDR Performance is hosting a FREE DYNO TEST DAY

Many people have always wondered what their bike makes for power or how well their bike is running. We get the same thing every time "i really wanna see how my bike runs but dont wanna spend the $100" or "i had it mapped/downloaded a map and think its not great" Well now you can find out for FREE! We know times are tight for everyone and we wanna help out by offering $100 dyno test runs for no charge.

This Saturday from 10am till 4pm EDR Performance will run your bike on the dyno for FREE! No strings attached. Bring your bike...we will look it over real quick (ie no leaks, tire plugs, chains falling off) and then put on our state of the art Dynojet 250i inside our INC dyno room...then run it for best of 3-4 runs. We will give you print out of horsepower and air fuel (no tq due to time required to get pick up signal on some bikes)

Think about it, you and your buddy both have GSXR1000's...but which one is stronger? which one runs better?? Find out!

Racers who bring in their race bikes we will go even further and put on a std dyno street tire on your bike for NO CHARGE so you can see just how well your race bike is running! Curious to see how well your race bike really is mapped? Wanna see how the POWER stacks up against our huge data base of race bikes? *Racers/Race bike dyno numbers will not be shown/posted/discussed outside of dyno unless allowed so by said owner.

We will have tons of free drinks and the weather looks AMAZING at 80 degrees (much cooler than this weeks 90+) Come check out the shop, meet the crew (new addition Corie even) hang out with other riders, shot the shit, and enjoy bikes for what they are...FUN!

Hope to see ya there.

*MODS on PNW PLEASE dont take down! This is something for EVERYONE and FUN and FREE! Please note I have tried countless times to become a site sponsor but all pm's to beansbaxter have been left unreplied too. So please contact me if you have info on us becoming a site sponsor for future things. thanks much. I have emailed ADMIN@pnwriders . com just again this am...i can paypal the $$ for site sponsors once someone actually replies to me instead of just taking threads down. This is just an announcement for a free dyno test for everyone.

As interested as I am to find out what my 636 is putting out, I have to work at 11 in Hillsboro, so sorry, I can't make it. Such a shame.

Eric, your place is going to be PACKED. If I get up and out the door early I may bring the 636 down, though it was just dynoed recently elsewhere, free never hurts. Plus I can drool over that Tuono a little more.

If for some reason this gets taken down, PM me and I'll post it.

Thanks man! I think mods are ok since Jafar (sp?) and i have been finalizing the site sponsorship/details today and once i get a $ amount, they will have my hard earned $$

Thanks again guys. I havent posted a lot on here cause most the time it was taken down as deemed "advertising" and per their request i have tried to honor that...now it seems Jafar (again sp may be off, apologize) is rolling with it and helping me out! Thanks everyone again and cant wait to see ya all and meet some of you

ERIC

I Ride: year 'round
I'm a maybe if I can get there in time. Question: When you dyno a bike (like mine, '96 yzf 600r) do you rev it up to redline? My bike technically hits redline at 13k. I was running it up to redline consistently at PIR (even though it probably didn't have much power after 11k or so, but hey I'm a newb) until it blew a con rod bearing. So, if I bring it into your shop, are you going to run it up all the way and blow a con rod bearing?!? Or just until it starts to drop power? Or just below redline?

Anyways, I had a coupon for a free dyno at EDR from last year but I lost it... so now's my chance

galenernest, just ask Eric, or whomever is running the dyno to cut at a particular engine speed. If your bike has a tach, it'll be easy enough. If your bike blows-up, you've got a strong chance at winning "Worst Tune."

DOH!!!!

I'll be in Sea-Tac this weekend for the nationals...

But I am gonna get the 12 down to EDR for a proper map, one of these days.... honest I am.

For those who have never been, it's worth the downtown traffic. All kinds on cool stuff on the walls to drool over, great guys with a ton of know-how, etc... well worth the drive.

They run it to redline, and yea I've seen bikes blow on dynos before. You can ask them to stop at 11k or whatev, but you'll not be getting an accurate hp rating.

guys if the bike wont rev past or make power up over say 11k whats the point? most know how a dyno and its operator work...its not just start it and pin it. *knock on wood* in over 16 years of dyno'ing i have never lost a bike yet...well ok we did burn up a RC car once trying it

A big thanks and kudos to the entire EDR team. As always, they are exceptionally friendly, insightful, and professional. Excellent execution of a very generous dyno day!

Eric will probably post results but here is mine:
2006 GSX-R 600 (black) - 109.67 WHP (4th gear run)
Standard Correction Factor with 5% smoothing

Again, thank you for the hospitality and generosity! Much appreciated.

The overall winner! Sorry no names and they came in at end of day when no crowd...gotta keep the competition guessing!

It is a SUPERSPORT built EDR bike. 1000cc. Races west of Mississippi Enjoy.
