Question What Motorcycle Related Purchase Did You Put Off This Year?
We all have cut back on spending and our passion for motorcycles has probably taken a hit too.

For me...I was going to get a custom enclosed trailer for hauling the bikes...a place to put my gear and haul all my crap. Unfortunately I took a pay cut this year and I just cant justify it right now...DAMMIT!!

The Economy sucks and I'll get it eventually.... but for the rest of you

What Motorcycle Related Purchase Did You Put Off This Year? (New Bikes included)

theres a long laundry list of bikes, and bikes stuff I always want.... it is an addition. I put off finishing the Rebel Scrambler, not so much a money thing as a dedicated time to do it and focus on it. winter is coming .

new bikes ... the dirty shop 250 shows this week. Save the cut backs for other places, Ramen for the win.

Kinda in same boat as you. Took a Pay Cut + a restriction of no OT anymore means I'm making half of what I did last year.

I had planned on getting rid of the R6 this summer so I could pick up an Adventure Bike. Plus Race Days, Track Days, a Trailer, etc. Long list of stuff I had to put off this year.

Third bike.. and trailer..

Technically the trailer only got douched because my car's engine essentially exploded.

Everything! Put the track bike back to street so I could at least ride. Racing and Track Days all canceled. No income family = no motorcycle fun But things are looking up the season isn't over!

Laid off for 7 months = using ALL the tread on my tires, and some of the cords too

And... no upgrade to the VFR I've always wanted, despite finding the perfect one for uber cheap. Had to watch someone else buy it

I'm planning on a short road trip next month. I hope I can still afford it when the time comes.

I bought a new rear tire online last month and I had to wait til today to have Adrian install it, due to cash shortage. The skin was getting mighty thin there. (At least in the middle.)

A quick shifter for the SV...they say it takes off a tenth of a second for each shift (probably more for my foot) and that makes 1.4 seconds per lap at PR for me. Wow, I might be able to see 36s by end of year. (Forgot to mention I also need to learn how to break later!!! But I can't purchase balls for that)

I really fucking want a new GP suspension, but my first gear is fuckin up (again) so thats taking more precident to shit I have to fix and im waiting till prolly april to do that, no sence in dumping money in mid season, just means your bike is on blocks in the middle of great weather

Even though that is the hardest thing to do, that is often times the smartest.

I put off doing a track day.
