Wild looking sidecar
I couldn't find any other reference to this after a quick search, so I hope it's not a repost...

I got it in an email from my uncle. Pretty amazing sidecar. Interesting, but I don't know if I'd want one. At what point does it become a car rather than a motorcycle? It sort of reminds me of those old limos where the driver sat outside in the weather.

"Nowadays, a motorcycle sidecar might not arouse the same interest as
it used to bikes in early days, but the latest vehicle by Francois
Knorreck is a sidecar with difference that gives an entirely new
definition to the sidecars. Dubbed “Snaefell,” the 1000cc Laverda
motorcycle has three exhausts, and its sidecar offers a luxury ride
in comparison to regular sidecars. The designer has employed
different parts of a Kawasaki 1000RX and a number of cars to
accomplish the motorcycle sidecar, which took 10 years and nearly
15,000 Euros to combine biking and luxury car ride in a single
vehicle"

True. I didn't think of it like that. Maybe it's a car that's powered by a motorcycle.

WTf I like the idea of following through on an idea, from an idea, that made other peoples minds have an idea as to what you were thinking, but are they really going to wonder about your mental stability after? ...

That's what I was thinking. So I can't corner or get the same rush as riding but I also have to freeze my balls off in the winter while some shlep sits comfortably in the sidecar next to me?

No thanks, as much as I like innovation and new ideas this one I can do without.

That's true. It's neither a good motorcycle or a good car. It's one of the reasons I've never been a fan of big highway cruisers. If it was necessary to ride something that big and heavy because I had a long way to go or lots of stuff to carry, I'd rather just drive and be comfortable. I'm willing risk cold and discomfort to ride something more exciting with the ability to corner. To me, riding a big cruiser for pleasure is like taking a class A motorhome to get groceries. It really defeats the purpose of riding.

Just to be devil's advocate...

A motorcycle that I could ride and bring my kids along without my wife worrying they will fall off.

Just sayin...

Reverse that,
Riding a sportbike to the store for groceries is similar to bareback riding, sure it can be done, but it aint much fun and your ass gets sweaty.

I don't really ride my sportbike to the store for groceries, although I have gone to Costco for free samples. It's pretty hard to get a sweaty ass up here on the north coast. Brr!

After Alaska I sweat simply because I can here, you know without freezing to the seat!
