Here I was think'n you got some crazy idea to cut an "alum disc"( rotor) and have it trick flame sprayed for a brake rotor...
I haven't heard of that for YEARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do they tech those out... include tire height, disk width only, or including rim and disk?... or is it just "creative" interpratation????
GREAT racing season to ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

As far as I know, the only requirements fall within the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle category, nothing stated in Sportsman Motorcycle rules.

However, if an incident like Steve Johnson's can happen at:

- biggest race of the year
- final round
- aired on ESPN
- AND still be so heavily disputed after the race

I'm not going to mess around with it at the local track. Better safe then sorry. Not to mention, the statements issued by Compulink were startling (I will try to find the Press Release they gave after the race).

It's used to positively break the staging beams.

Zip ties, wire ties, bolts on the wheel itself, etc. Many options depending on the particular application.

I can but he didn't like my price
They're a ton cheaper when they make a couple hundred at a time.

Yeah - always the case, huh?

I don't think there's a "couple hundred" dragbikes in all of the PNW. (sigh)

...but I absolutely understand why you work on submarines! LOL

It wasn't 100% the price, but also the fact that at that point I had someone who said they were going to produce one for me, but that has yet to happen.
