Remembering Gleno - Memorial Thread
I have confirmed with reliable sources I know in the Las Vegas community that Gleno did indeed pass away. More info to come...

I know myself, and many others here on PNW Riders, had the opportunity of meeting with Gleno. I spent a couple hours just walking with Gleno talking motorcycles and business and everything in between right before he flew back to Vegas.

Gleno always had that huge smile and loved to give those Gleno hugs. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife and family.

Gleno was 46 years old.

I am sending out a request to everyone and anyone who met Gleno Macintosh, to please post up your pictures of him and with him here, as part of this memorial thread.

RIP.

Do to a busy schedule and other commitments Tina and I missed the chance to meet Gleno. We talked often on this forum and another one and I will always regret never meeting him in person; he was just a fun guy living life and having fun. I can only imagine how his family and close friends must feel, I hope someday they get to read how he touch others on the web like he did to those in person.

That is when I last called my dearest friend....he didn't answer. My sweetest, I cannot tell you how much you altered my life. Many of you probably don't know how close Gleno and I really were. I remember one night we sat and talked for hours...the way he talked about T was overwhelming. I cannot express the loss of this world without him. Babe, with every waking day I will feel you in my heart, every night you will be in my prayers. I will still post to you - if you don't mind..I will make sure you are never forgotten. I will carry my pen everywhere....I love you with all my heart......

I was actually holding on to it when I read the first thread. I've been using it for my morning appointments. Means a little more now.

I will always regret that we never made it to see him during his visit. I remember being particularly irritated that we missed him. Although I never got to get one of his famous Gleno hugs in person, he was truly a good friend, albeit it through online interactions. His character was beautiful and it was apparent even through his sarcasm

It is particularly comforting to know how much he loved his wife Theresa and how one of his last posts here on pnw in Spec's insurance thread was how he made sure she was taken care of. Anything we can do for her and his family - we will.

Gleno - words cannot express how much you will be missed.

DJoplin and others have also expressed this same idea. Next week, we will start to plan something out and figure out how and when to do it. And coordinate with the Las Vegas side of things.

I am in shock and words aren't nearly enough to express the sorrow and sadness that is in my heart at this moment. That man was amazing! What a heart he had for people, all sorts.

I was blessed to meet him and get to know him on his trip up to Washington, when he delivered the pens that he had his wife make for many of us.

I'll truly miss him and wish this weren't so for the rest of my life.

I can't imagine what his family is going through right now. I feel for them!

Why O' why did it have to be him? Why now?

The tears won't stop. . . . . . .

These pictures were taken on the weekend Gleno came to Washington, December 30th and 31st.

He really enjoyed his visit here, meeting riders, and seeing some of the sites of Seattle.

His arrival at the airport.

Chatting with a dear friend.

Happy to be here.

What a smile!

Ah yes! How many of us feel about motorcycles and parking.

Gleno brought me so much joy from the first time we met and he showed me around his city and introduced me to other SCS riders.

Most of my screen saver pictures at work are of my time in Vegas where I first met him and he took the time out of his busy schedule to introduce me to other riders when I came to Vegas and knew no one.

Gleno always had a camera...

My first introduction to "the shocker"

and who can forget when he made it possible for so many of you to get the shocker decal?

My all-time favorite picture - Gleno was a man of warmth and heart

I wish I knew how to share him singing Happy Birthday to me (saved on my cell phone). What a great guy!

When Gleno came to Seattle/Olympia to meet so many of you, Brad and I had a chance to show him around - Brad can post some of those pictures up. But one thing that really stuck with me, as it has since I met him, his constant talk about the love of his life, his wife, Teresa. They've known each other since 10th grade. With all the joking that he does I have always known that this man truely loved his, as he always puts it, "His Bride". They were going to renew their vows this year.

Thank you to all of you that have been sending me PM's It touches my heart and it is very appreciated. I am so glad that I introduced him to this site. He has told me so many times how of all the sites he was on he loved this site the most because of all of you.
