| PNW Administrator ![]() | I'm talking just plain and simple power... you roll on the throttle and the front wheel launches toward space. I am not talking about dumping the clutch and hold on tight... Please name your bike with a yes or no answer. ![]() |

Normal just rolling on the power it couldn't break its way out of a wet paper bag |

| Pit Crew Joined: May 2006 From: everett I Ride: SV650S | Try harder! my '05 will do it in 1st, 2nd can too but it's usually because of a hard/quick shift into 2nd and hard back on the throttle. After I added 2 teeth to the rear it's even easier, but I don't like pulling the front wheel up. |

| WMRRA Qualifier Joined: Oct 2006 From: Seattle I Ride: awesomely fast onez | my stock 03 R6 did wheelies out of the bus stop this race weekend. i can bring it up pretty easily in first. Second will pull up the front end if i'm in the higher RPM range, especially when there's a bump in the road. |

FYI - for those that have it wrong... the definition of a Power Wheelie is: Rolling on to full throttle smoothly, and holding it there, then the front comes up. No whacking, rocking, or bouncing. | Forum Cripple | Sweet, another superhawk! 1st + second, and it'll carry it easily through third but won't bring it up on its own. Haven't tried carrying it through the higher gears. |

Heck, it was somewhat difficult to pull the thing up. Maybe I need to try whacking it at 4k. ![]() 2005 Kawi ZX6-R 1st and 2nd power wheelie. I think some of you are confused between pulling up a wheelie and powering it up. Last edited by Spec; 04-04-2007 at 11:21 AM.. |

| Superbiker Joined: Jul 2006 From: Lakewood, WA I Ride: '08 848, '04 R6, '99 VFR | '04 R6 in 1st and 2nd. I've never done it on purpose, it's just happened a few times. I've had it come up on me between 2nd and 3rd at PR after the bus stop, too, but that might just be from me dumping the clutch at 14K... I've done it a couple times on the '99 VFR in 1st and 2nd; again it just happened, not intentionally done. Jimmie |
