Cleaning Leathers
For those of you that don't know, I wear a white leather riding jacket. And man oh man does it ever get nasty. Dirt.. bugs... guts... Just nasty. And to make matters worse - I never cleaned it after last year's riding season. So I thought it was going to be a nasty chore to tackle. BUT......

I pulled out one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers that I get in my stocking every Christmas - and Holy Nuts!! This is the BEST product in the world. Just get it wet and wipe.. No soap.. No special leather cleaning products. And my coat looks brand spakin' new with practially no effort!

Highly recommend!!

Glad you were able to get your jacket cleaned up.

I personally wouldn't consider putting any qhite leather shoe stuff on my jacket until the white actually starts coming off. I wouldn't paint over it. I'm telling you.. It got REALLY clean - and was super easy.

as above, I wouldnt want shoe "paint" on my jacket...

As for conditioning/water-proofing after its clean, Ive had VERY good success over the years with Langlitz Leather Dressing.

I've got a tip for Kristine.

For those that don't know, Maric's wife is pretty hot. Smart, super dooper intelligent, Blonde, lot's of legs, and has the sweetest of hearts. He's a lucky man.

Actually you get your gear on and then fire up the pressure washer and have a friend clean you up.

Cleaning the bird guts off the one piece last year was a pain finially just pressure washed it.

I have found that a little bit of silicone spray (food grade) on a rag and buff your leather up helps to get the bugs off after they get on sorta stops them from sticking. Problem is I am to lazy to keep the gear coated.
