Zero Emission // Zero Impact Speed machine // appropriately Technology packed // Ultra Light materials // Integrated Behavior System // Concept in Development // MADE IN MIND

nUCLEUS is a conceptual project that will be featured in NONOBJECT Design Fiction Book.

We believe that a new breed of alternative fuel vehicles deserves a new level of experience. Why must motorcycles mimic each others DNA. Why motorcycles mirror ferocious animals from the wild? Are we capable of doing it differently? With this in mind, and the desire to seek out inspiration elsewhere, nUCLEUS presented itself as the ideal, albeit uncommon, solution, away from the beaten path. It’s a motorcycle built on the antagonistic principle of “square against air”, The square side-view hides the fact that these interchangable panels of lightweight - ultra strong composite material are simply blades from the front – fierce blades that cut through air. nUCLEUS also boasts a thin comfortable saddle and animal-like behavior system - a new way to connect with your vehicle: it gets up on its hind legs (in action) and rests down squarely (while locked, at rest). nUCLEUS is an concept in development demonstrating what’s possible when the motivating idea is to push an entire product category to an uncharted territory. If you are interested in investing or supporting this project feel free to contact us at info[at]nonobject[dot]com. There is a lot more to it. Do not copy, be inspired.

Um, wouldn't the "blades" act as a tail does on an airplane and make it difficult to deviate from a straight course?

Also, what kind of lean angle can you expect before you drag "blade"?

I could see someone pinching their thumbs pretty bad in slow speed parking lot manuvers...or worse in a high speed tank-slapper.

I'm inspired to walk away from this "piece" of experimental design.

I'd ride it. Why not? So it does not look great, neither does your mom and I still ride it!

You, sir, are obviously and severely lacking in both aesthetic taste and a good sense of humor. Please keep your comments to yourself.

To put it another way- they are both pretty fugly. Out of all of us, you're the only one who is hard up enough to ride them anyway.

<- Made me do it...

I find that design concept pretty cool. Kudos to them for originality in design.

It has practicality issues, but that isn't the point.

Because over 100 years of motorcycle design and development has yielded proven results.

EDIT: OK, so it's not even a real product. It's part of an apparently pretty shitty design firm's portfolio. That explains why it looks like it was created by someone who knows nothing about motorcycles and even less about aerodynamics.
