I Ride: Like A True Infidel
New Here...
Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 23 and originally from Corvallis, OR. but am currently stationed in Las Vegas (I miss home...).

I should be getting back from my deployment in mid August, at which point I plan on doing the standard young and enlisty move and use all of that money to buy a new shiny toy... (09 CBR 1000RR). I've had a 95 zx6r for the past 2 years now and I want something bigger and better. I want my bike to be like my girlfriend - Fast, Fun, and make all the adolescent boys drool...

In just over a year my enlistment will be up, and I plan on goin' back to school at OSU - Go Beavers!

Wanna know anything else, just ask.

Welcome Clive. You should join us on one of our coast rides sometime. I'm 46 and live between Astoria and Seaside. I take my wife when it's warm enough for her. We'll probably ride over that way sometime. We certainly can't go west from here.

New To PNWR
Whats up guys! I am new to PNWR but I've been riding since I was 7. I used to ride with a few dudes from kirkland but I lost touch with them after I sold my R6.

I recently picked up an 05 R1 and love it! The bike is truly amazing! Way better than my 03 R6.

Well, hopefully we'll have some nicer weather soon. Look forward to meeting you guys soon.

Lata,

Hey guys. The names Evan. I've been lurking on the site for a while, but this is the first time I've posted. I've been involved with cars all my life but I'm fresh to the bike scene...as in I just went on my second ride earlier today. I'm already hooked and eager to learn. I purchased a 2002 Triumph TT600 from my buddy (Vennom) which needless to say will need some TLC. I studied at WSU and now live in downtown Kirkland, so I'm always down to meet new people.

Hello from way up north! My name is Mark and I've been riding for quite a while and currently own a few motorbikes.

I'm planning on being in the PNW in July this summer with a sportbike in my minivan, probably my ol Ducati 996. My plan is to get off the AK State ferry in Prince Rupert BC and slowly make my way south to Kalamath Falls, OR then head north and be back in Prince Rupert a few weeks later.

I'm hoping to hook up with some folks in search of some twisties as well as attending some bike nights. I love to socialize.

Here's how me and my dogbrother Comet travel. Doing what I can to change the image of a minivan driver. See ya, Mark H.

Hi, need info
Hi, I just came across your site and wanted to ask some questions.
Me and a freind are going to be in Washington state May 26th. We will be entering from the N.E. on hwy 31 then taking hwy 20 over to coville and kettle falls. From there we will head down to Grand Coulee, I was wondering if it would be better to head south on hwy 25 or take the Inchelium hwy on the west side of the lake/reservoir? From Grand Coulee we will head over to Winthrop, any suggestions on the best route to Winthrop? We will then do the pass over to Marblemount and then back to start going back home. We will take hwy 20 back to Kettle Falls and then hwy 25 to Northport and B.C.
Would appreciate your help and let me know if we are missing any "must see" roads.

Hey guys. My name is David and have been riding off and on for about 10 years. Currently riding an 05' Yamaha FZ1, silver/black as silver is clearly the fastest color, at least that's what the salesman told me.

Looking forward to racing anyone with a bike other than silver. Preferably yellow or pink.

Hello folks! My name is Justin I'm 28 divorced and lived in Skagit valley most of my life, currently residing in Burlington WA. I carry a gun for work, enjoy a good Cohiba or H. Uppmann cigar and glass of Glenlivet, and absolutely love pinball machines! I bought a '08 Kawasaki EX500 at the beginning of last summer ( 2008 ) to try and beat the silly gas prices. I never rode a motorcycle before in my life and immediately took to it like a fish to water. I love riding and now I cannot get enough. I've clocked 3500+ miles so far and I'm pretty sure I'm not saving any gas money as I ride a lot more then I ever drove my car. Any money I would be saving is just going back in the tank for more riding enjoyment! Joining up here to try and meet some good folks to go for rides with and discover whatever I can about motorcycles.

Hey I'm just another hidden identity behind a tinted visor

Ok, so whatever, I just hate my real name a bit. Anyway, pushing 25 years of age, somewhat new rider as I enter my 7th month of riding my '08 SV650S. My fiancee and I enjoy 2up riding around town, with hot runs out into the mountains and country side.

I've got an extensive/self taught mechanical background, and have enjoyed the beginnings of my wrenching on my ride. Lost the stock can for a Yoshi, and did some other minor changes that really perked up the little demon.

9Tail.. in all his glory. And yes, he's very much a boy Certainly has an attitude about him.

Oh, and I'm one of those "have gone down" riders thanks to a lowside on black ice with past winter. The relic of that incident is on my keyring. Fear not the crash unless you don't have the gear to take it.

Umm.. past that, I'm not much for writing about myself unless asked.

New here, relocating soon.
Just joined and thought I'd say "hi".

I'm currently in Houston but may be relocating this summer and thought I'd find a forum and see what there is to see.
Married (26yrs), 4 grown kids, 11 grandkids.........turn 50 in a few months :(.
Anyway, been riding for a little while now, strictly sport bikes, and I've been doing track days the last 3-4 years. But, I still like riding on weekends on nice quiet backroads whenever possible.

What's up y'all. I was on here before as JetBrett, but after a bit, I couldn't post. I've been reincarnated as Cleatus. The name fits my personality a bit better so I guess it works out pretty good.

I just started riding a year ago...the Duc is my first bike, but I've become prettty hooked and rode all winter and just did my first track day (2Fast) on 5/13/09.

Hey everyone. My name is Matt and I'm 23. I grew up riding dirt bikes from the age of 4. Two summers ago I purchased my very first street bike, a new 07 R1, then got my endorsement and have been loving it ever since (and I'm proud to say I have never been down).

I have a few friends that I ride with, but since joining, I look forward to meeting many new riders and friends!

Welcome to the forum.

You're my hero. I'm 46, married over 20 years with 4 kids (no grandkids yet). Sometimes people insinuate that I'm a little old to be riding sportbikes, but I still feel 25 with a little more common sense than I had back then. I hope to be riding as long as I can breathe. You're another example for me to refer to when someone tells me I need to grow up and quit riding.

I hope you make it to the NW this summer. It's very different from Houston, but I'm sure you know that already.

Yo! Whats up everyone, I am what you would call a total bike virgin. I have wanted one my whole life and now, 30 years later I finally bought a Yamaha FZ6R. Yamaha says that it's a good beginner bike, we shall see. I havent been able to take the Beginner class yet so it is sitting in my garage...taunting me...calling me!. I am totally looking forward to being able to ride! I'm so bored of driving to work everyday, sitting in my car, slowly going insane! I need the open air, and freedom that only a bike can give.

Welcome!! I was the same way. I'd go out to the garage and sit on it, start it, ride it around the parking garage a bit. lol. That is a great beginner bike! Very similar to my FZ6. Not sure why they gave it .5 gal less in the tank though.

Join us for Bike Night!!!
