Today's ride ...brrr!

  1. I went on a long ride today taking Hwy 12 over to Yakima.
Really wanted to try Canyon Road from Selah to Ellensburg because I'd never been on it before.
It was a great ride and the roads were terrific, but, man, I should have layered up more! It think it was in the mid-30s when I began the ride this morning at 8 a.m. and even in Selah it was only 55 when I got there.

I don't have any heated gear so I was pretty chilled the whole first half of my ride. Altogether, my buddy and I logged about 350 miles on the ride.

On the way back, we decided to take Hwy 10 parallel to I-90 until it hits Cle Ellum. Didn't know the road was closed because of a bridge project. Anyway, there's a dirt and gravel road that you can take to get around the bridge being out, but it's pretty sketchy. We took it at about 20 mph.

Probably my last long ride of the year.

  2. This time of year makes me thing about getting heated something... :)

  3. nice. its always fun fitting your snowboard gear under your leathers.

  4. I am thinking UNDERWEAR... Don't want your BoyZ to get too cold!!
    Thinking shrinkage and all!

I LOVE my new Hybrid Gerbing Gloves BTW!! Lowered my min temp riding time by 15 degrees...

Have fun on the OTHER side
