Saturday Twisty ride to Heppner from Hermiston
Are there any folks interested in doing a ride from Hermiston to Heppner. We'll make our route through Echo toward Reith, than on to Heppner through Pendleton and then back along the long straight two lanes back to H-Town?

If I can get the son out of bed we should be leaving around 0930 on Sat.

my departure means the place has to shut down for the day. it's most torturous during sunny weather.

I might be able to make it, however it would be nice to have a meet-up location. I will be going to breakfast in Stanfield and should be finishing up around that time. Cell#541-377-2611.

Ride safe, Scott.

Here's the route to Heppner
Meet and leave from the Starbucks in Hermiston @0930, head toward Stanfield, then off to Echo, taking Reith Rd toward Pendleton, Pickup hiway 395 to Pilot rock, just after PR we jump on to hiway 74 to the twisties toward Heppner. Upon our arrival in Heppner we should take a break and have some coffee or beverage of your choice.

After the rest period we'll head for Lexington along 207/74, then a right turn toward Hermiston on 207.

I'll bring my camera and may make too many stops for photo-ops. If too many stops just tell me and we'll keep riding. The last time my son and I rode this route we went the opposite direction and there was snow up on the summit. But the ride was pretty nice.

I'll give you a call when we're about to leave Hermiston and meet up in Stanfield.

Sounds good. If I get done before 9:30, I'll meet you at Starbuck's, otherwise I'll see you in Stanfield.
Headed out now, packing cell phone.
Ride safe, Scott.
