Motorcycle friendly in Pendleton
We are hoping to stay in Pendleton, using it as a base Friday and Saturday, and maybe Sunday. Looking in the AAA book, I got the following info. (And I read thru the Main ST Diner thread)

AAA Pendleton places to stay:

America's Best Value Inn

Best Western Pendleton

Hampton Inn

Holiday Inn Express

Oxford Suites

Red Lion Pendleton.

Travelodge

AAA Dining

El Charrito

Hamley Steakhouse

Stetsons House of Prime

Just looking for a place that has a pool, even a hot tub would be nice, and decent eating within walking distance, plus safe parking for the bikes. We will go to the Stetsons House of Prime for dinner at least once.

I Ride: Hither, Thither and Yon ... mostly day rides
for myself, I wouldn't have overnight fears for my bike at
any Pendleton motel I've ridden by.

ill be in pendleton this weekend as well. You have to go to hamleys and take a tour, they just spend millions and millions restoring that place, its gorgeous. My sister lives there and ive been there quite a bit, ive never really heard of any major problems, pretty relaxed little hick town for the most part. Bike should be safe almost anywhere.

Dude it's a Harley not much need for an over priced boat anchor in Pendleton, the cranksters are looking for copper not chrome.

You'll be ok

He beat ya to it, and I will propose it to the group, but I think we are going the other way. I am not the R/C this year, just doing some research. Couple of years ago we pulled into Kelowna in late September, figuring no problem getting a room, didn't know Dragon Boats were such a big deal in BC. We literally got the last rooms in town, split up between 2 different properties! Oh yeah, no discounts either.
