Yep... We didn't take the turn and instead kept going till we met up with Old Belfair HWY.

I've taken that route a few times by myself, and you're right NC05600RR, it;s nice winding road.

As we preach every week, ride your ride. Glad to see so many out that actually stayed out with us. As far as everyone splitting up, well, we need to meet somewhere afterwards. We normally ride to the Taco Bell in Bremerton. There were 25 bikes to start out, I think there were 19 or 20 at the meet point on Dewato, and 4 a Taco Bell.
Hey, I'm cool with that, but would like to meet after for a few...
Discuss later?

I won't be making the next few, I will be in San Diego..

I wasn't sure where you all go after heading toward downtown Bremerton, I was going to follow but had to go and pick up one of the kids by 9:45. What time do you leave Taco Bell? That is one thing that I really enjoy about this ride, I can ride at my pace and every one stops at points to group back up. Be safe in San Diego, hurry back cause it won't be the same with out the leader of the pack

We stayed straight on Dewatto and stopped at the stop sign at the end... Sorry, we didnt think to stop at the fork. We'll know for next time!

I went out and gave it a try.

Was it just an off night or is it normal to spend an equal amount of time riding and parking?
I think I had about 50 miles on the trip meter and that's including from my house to the mall, the ride, and back to my house again, over 2 hours time.

Oh well, maybe try again next week.

I haven't been riding on the wed. night long but usually from 60 to 75 miles. Okay for me, got to be home by 9:45 or so. Were you hoping for longer? That was my first time to Manchester on a wed., too many

around there. It's a great group of people though!

Yeah I agree the choice of route had an effect on options, and it's a nice little place to go to, it's just that when I go for a ride, I ride. If you don't count the time spent on hwy 3 getting back home, we spent more time in parking lots than we did on the road. Still, time on two wheels is better than time not on two wheels so maybe I'll give benefit of the doubt and show up for more of them.

I hear ya, but keep coming. I do like the stops to group everyone back up but I also want to pack as much riding in to the time I have since I don't get alot of time to ride.

I was going to try and make it last night, but ended up at work late. Yet after I picked up the bike and headed towards the Hood canal bridge-I still saw a bunch of bikes in the Kohls parking lot at like....7:45

Wasen't sure if that was you guys or not.....so I kept going and enjoyed a couple hours on the TL along with a friend of mine on his 748.

Maybe next week...

We need you back here Adam... The ride was kinda lost without someone prodding us to get going.

Last Wednesday, we sat around Kohl's forever, then stopped in Manchester and sat around forever, and then headed back. We did more yappin' than ridin', which wasn't as much fun.

That's funny. I would much rather be riding. I'm having a good time, but I miss having that powerful vibrating thing between my legs. Just think, if I wouldn't have got into trouble, I'd be riding down here!

Only 6 of us made it through to our usual Dewatto stopping point along the water. We then headed back north and turned onto Bear Creek. Then followed it to Old Belfair HWY, and headed to Gorst.

At the stoplight in Gorst, I was the only one sitting in the right lane, heading straight towards PO. But right before I was taking off and leaving the other 5 riders in the turning lane, two of Kitsap's finest pulled up behind them.

Did you guys get pulled over?

No, we didnt, but there weren't just 2, by the time we got on the overpass we had four of the... ahem.... "kitsap's finest" on our tails. One of the guys figured they were leaving the sheriffs shooting range out there. Not too sure, but when we hit the highway all four of them went mobbing past us, and that was it.
