For the record, here is the location of where I shot the last tag. I'm looking forward to starting the searches anew when Brad plants the first one of the new year. ![]() KitsapSV1000, are you ready to start tutoring me on mapping? I guess I will just be lurking until Willow rolls himself out of bed and the DRZ out of the living room. |

| Chicken Strips Joined: Mar 2008 From: Bremerdale, WA I Ride: whatever you let me... | I know Larry gave away the answer above but.... That tag is in Southworth at the baseball field in the water at Olympic. My moms place is just two driveways up from there. Spent many an hour back in the woods. Used to be a brick maker there across the street on the water. The main portion of the harvesting came from back in the woods where te trail goes up behind the field. Hike back far enough, crossing the creek two and a half times and you're going to find yourself at some really sandy cliffs. These were so much damn fun to climb as a kid/teen. Wanted to build some good forts back there but then I found out I like girls and they don't like traipsing through the woods just to go make out with me. Turns out that making out led to other things and I haven't built a fort since. Pitched a few tents though! |
