Thanks for the memories.. me and a buddy played this game daily a few summers ago when we had a PS2, a sofa, and mini fridge in the garage with three or four bikes. We'd get tired of working on motorcycles so we'd race them! |

| Knee Dragger | You guys are bastards... I'll have some times posted up sooner or later, need to sit down and put some time in to remember how to ride in the game! I've played MotoGP 08 & 09 on 360 as well, both great games.. Anyone do anything with 4 wheels? I've been playing GT5 when I have time but a fractured tailbone keeps me from being about to spend too much time on anything that requires sitting :( |

I think an easier way to identify the compatible ones was that they all had the 4 usb ports on the front...but I'm not 100% sure about that. I actually just picked this game up at gamestop a couple weeks ago for 5 bucks...well worth it! And while the 1080i output doesn't work with with my tv...this game still rocks. They need to hurry up and develop one for the PS3. |

So yeah it is backwards compatible, but PS2 games seem a bit jumpy on it so I think it is the Software Emulation version. I was told: 80 Gig = HARDWARE Emulation. 20/60 Gig =SOFTWARE Emulation. The Hardware IS the one to have. Sony got cheap and cut the electronics out of the Hardware Emul models. The Software Emul doesn't work as good as playing them in a PS2. Then Sony cut the Software Emul out of the newer models to compete financially with XBox. I'd just go buy a PS2 slimboy for $99 just to play it, but that's 3/4 of a trackday. That, and F* Sony for not making the new versions compatible with their/my old games. ![]() |

| Peg Dragger | ![]() I was stoked to see the 24.409, I think I only came off once, maybe twice, also missed a bunch of apexes so there is definitely room for major improvement. |
