I was having so much fun I really did not want to stop for a tag but I knew you would want something to look forward to for Friday and the weekend. The break made sure I got caught by Carter(?) and had an unscheduled 30 min break at the bridge, but no worries it was an great ride.

This tag is located at the mouth of a river which is named after a man who was turned into a mountain at the river’s source, according to myth.

I think it is only fitting that someone riding an Italian motorcycle (non goose) should get this one.

Larry et.al. -
If this tag ends up on "The Far Side" - (nicely changed last year from the DARK side)...
there will be a nice long COLD ride for someone!!

I am thinking that Larry may have his DUCK's (hence the Italian reference) and DOSE's mixed up - A Duck-a-Bush was not turned into a mountain according to Myth... Although that must-a been a WHALIP of a legend that turned some dude named DOSE from a river into a mountain....

Just saying...

I would need Larry's Magic BLUE pants at LEAST - not to mention some toasty fingers...
I agree though - this is one of my favorite runs and I have been doing it at least 2X a year - and I know right where "Duck-A-Whalips" is!!

Yeah, right near Dose-a-busch.

The 43 degrees is not really an issue, but I would have to get a Magic Blue Jacket to go with the Magic Blue Pants. You are hoping for electric gloves; I am wishing for Aerostitch riding gear. That happens, look out.

I have "heard" that my B-Day Gloves have been ordered!! Yippee!!
I also heard that they are on backorder until the end of MARCH - NOT Yippee!!
The batteries seem to be the slow part here - Gerbing has the Gloves - but no batteries until Mid-March!!
I'll just hope for some "warm" days until then!!
Still waiting for someone from the Far Side to snag this TAG - then we may be screwed for awhile...

I am OUT for the entire weekend AND the TEMP is scheduled to be 50+ -

Maybe i could go out and pick it up, or is that breaking rules? Then again no telling what direction I might take it.

I'm thinking that it has more to do with that white "rain" that has been plaguing the canal. Tends to make the front end push a bit.

As for me, my schedule has seriously sucked in the afternoons.

True, I am not a fan of white stuff or ice with these low temps, I see the snow is sticking around in the Brinnon area.

The other night all the dew/rain that had beaded up on my cover was frozen into little balls of ice and my fingers were cold before the bike was at operating temps.
