That is a beautiful ride just as the leaves are beginning to turn in the lowlands. Get an early start, do lunch in Winthrop, and come home via Leavenworth.

I like this ride personally. Deception Pass is amazing.

The main negatives involved with that route is the roving bands of motor homes around Deception Pass and the hammered traffic from the Anacortes cutoff through Sedro Wooley.

Love both ideas -
But you forget that I ride a 17 year old spark and fuel Italian Bike....
Getting THAT far out w/o services around makes my worry-meter bounce off the redline!!
I should just get a newer Honda or Guzzi or????
Currently staying close to the house as I think I am developing a new CARB issue!!
I still love my Mistress though!!

Going all the way
with the mistress

or grabbing occasional
moments under fav
conditions?

Up date by your fav bike wrench/
reduex-er

SS ignition/FI refit/later-still cool model

newer Duc/other vintage

but then
there's no engineering
about mistresses

their appeal is their
unavailability for long haul
experiences

from a veteran of
Brit Iron '55 Ariel Red Hunter

1950 R51/2 BMW (1st production
off the casting moulds buried
in WWII auf Deutchland by factory

"...how far should I stray from
the roundhouse...Should I ride
in the rain or cold...what if the
carbs hang up...what if my ignition is
Lucas...or Italian...
what if I overheat..."

Zen Master:

There's riding

and then

planning/fearing/apprehending
to ride

I miss DatCat

she would give
a kudos rep about this

note(1) Hey man, absolutely
0 offense intended...

there's nothing like grooving
with a classic lady

like your Duc

Best experience
watching her tail with you
aboard to Neah Bay n back...

those not experiencing this
are only guessing and assuming

Your friend and classic

You did not mention the marbles from shoulder work that make the avoiding of forest tats all the more interesting. seen 22 deer, none with antlers.

Might have some time this weekend, but a lot of my chores have been put on hold prepping for the show!!
Bloke - when I 1st glanced at the tag you dropped I thought for sure you had taken it to the Casino nearer to Shelton - thanks for the LURE!!

Congrats on the show! Didn't know you are an artist. May have to buy Larry a coffee and check it out.

Top of the Clearwater Casino parking garage. (If it wasn't for the painted arrows on the pavement it would be lots more fun getting to top and back down.)
