I'm thinking if enough Kitsap Brit riders pull into the shop at the same time an insist on a real bike shop, we might get one. Maybe a pipe dream but worth a try. | |

I might use them if I were buying a new Triumph, only because with their connection to the auto dealer they might be able to deal a bit more but.....I would be reluctant to trust anything that was PDI'd there. Lonnie, the tech in Tacoma does a good job but that shop has changed alot in the last year. I use I-90 for parts and will use them for services that I can't do myself. On a side note, who is riding that older blue Speed Triple in Port Orchard? |

He answers most of my questions and actually works on the bikes. Nice guy and he will give you information about your bike if you ask. |

What a great way to learn the brand and the amazing triple engine then with a carb'ed edition......sold that one at 85K miles  The second one, '98 T595, fabulous upgrade to the carb'ed model....a real back road destroyer with a pit bull attitude and demeanor.... sold to forum member daytona595 at 36K thrilling miles...... Loved that dream bike.  The third one, '05 Tiger, such a great machine, fast reliable, easy to maintain and above all an amazing do anything machine..... This bike does it all! I'm excited to see the next step in my Triumph ownership career. |

There are riders that you want to buy used bikes from, he is one of them. Interesting bikes, ridden and treated well. |

| Training Wheels Joined: May 2011 From: Langley/Princeton BC CA | From what I've heard, Champion Triumph in Bellingham is very good. Old time small cramped shop but the owner does the wrenching. Can't recall his name. I just had a tune up done by Dave at Super Sport in Langley BC and the Thruxton is running great. I was getting the Speed Triple serviced at British Italian motorcycles in Vancouver but the mechanic has left there. I'll have to do some digging to find out where he is now. He also races a Daytona. If anyone is ever near Kelowna BC and needs work done, go see Bently Triumph as they have a real Guru of a mechanic, Gord McMartin. His expertise extends to just about any bike. I have had other brands as well during my time riding, but always had a Triumph in my garage at the same time. T120's, T140's, chopped, bobbed and stock. I just can't get them out of my system. I love em' . Oldest I had was a '68 T120R. That bike was reduced to the minimum parts for operation. Rode her until I gave her away to a young gearhead who wanted to rebuild her.
