Made a ninja appearance - or not

New plug and filter in the lawnmower yesterday.
Marinated the carb in seafoam for a couple hours. Dang! Stuff really works.
Got it running and the lawn cut. Was able to make the ride today.

Good route and tacos. Thanks much.

I also forgot to mention that it was fun being the young guy in the group but also kinda intimidating. Its almost like going to prison, where you find the biggest toughest guy and kick his ass, but in this case i had to find the most senile and mouthy old fart (TexasL) and pick on him first to establish some ground!

haha joking aside it was great

It was a great ride. Nice to be humbled and reminded that I got a lot of learning to do. Scraping foot pegs on the curves and having Texasl shake his head at me.

Hey ya Clark,
I don't see a well cared for T595 in any of the posted pictures.

I do see the White Tiger I rode when we swapped bikes a couple months ago though.

Don't worry about the pegs, they're replaceable, and they fold up, so just don't panic when they start to vibrate your feet.

And the head shaking? With trifocals I'm most likely just trying to find a gear that works for the distance I'm trying to see at.

Thanks to everyone, it was a great day, great people. Let's make sure we get in another winter ride soon. We'll watch the weather, maybe make use of the ferries again, go up to Whidbey and make a quick run up to Chuckanut Drive.

I had a lot of fun and now I can say I've been to Alki!
It was really nice to get out on the bike and ride with a good group of guys.

That Daytona is a great bike, started right up after a two month lay-up. Started easier than my newer Tiger! I switched the picture in my avatar to show that bike. I'll take the Daytona on my next winter ride.
