Lightbulb Staying Local This Weekend
Hey All! I was wondering if anyone else is staying local this weekend. I have all Saturday free and Sunday from 12-5 free. I haven't seen anything going on for those times and thought I'd get something going. Sat is looking pretty decent, so maybe the 101 loop. Sunday is suppose to be low 70's, so I was thinking something like Fort Warden. I'm totally open for suggestions. So let's get a little something going for those of us that need to stay local or are not going to go on the longer rides.

Ok, I have a plan... LOL I spent some time on google maps and came up with what looks like a fun ride. We'll meet in Gorst 76 Station @ 12:45, kickstands up @ 1:15. We can top off there too. We will then head to the hood canal bridge via all back roads aside from the last 2mi or so on HWY 3 to Hood Canal Bridge. Stay on 106 for a few miles, then off major HWY to different routes to Quilecene. We'll stop for some food there at that Log place(can't remember the name). Then stay on the 101 to HWY 106 via a side route to HWY 3 just through Belfair on to Old Belfair HWY finishing up where we started. Should be back at start around 5ish. Hope that sounds like fun... See you tomorrow!

Me and Rob might meet you right over the Hood Canal bridge. I live on one side and he lives on the other =] That way there's no back-tracking.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I didn't finish putting the bike together until about 1ish. I went on my own ride and the new sprockets kick ass!

Hope your ride turned out amazing and the fuzz didn't find you!

Hey everyone, of course I'm the last to get home...had to stop for gas...trip meter read just shy of 200 miles today.

I had a lot of fun riding. Now, I remember all your names because I was thinking of them all the way home so I can commit them to my diminishing memory...

Jason - Thank you for putting together the ride! It was AWESOME! Will have to go riding again someday. Maybe mother nature will sneek us in one more glorious weekend.

Jim - Mr. Speedy - anything you can teach me, I am anxious to learn and observe.

Kat - you hot mama with the platnium blonde hair. I don't know your email but if you email me or put in a request to be added to my friends list I will email you the picture I took of you. Sorry you had to go so soon...you missed a great linner (not lunch, not dinner).

Roger - You have the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen and if there was no one around, I would have just stared at them all day. Also nice to have met someone else that grew up in OH.

Steve - You are so awesome when you take those turns and your knee is almost touching the ground. Wow I want to ride like Steve someday!!!

Isaiah - Thank you for watching out for me and making sure I knew my way back through Bremerton and staying with me at the end. Ahhh and you are simply crazy with those standing up stunts you pull. See that's why I stay far back because I need all the stopping room if one of you should happen to fall.

Ray - At first I thought you were kinda an ass. Simply because when I put my hand on your bike to ask you to move forward (cause dummy me parked too close) you gave me this dirty "get your hand off my bike" look. But you turned out to be ok.

So no matter what you all are doing tomorrow, riding up to Anacortes for the Oyster Run or down to Portland for Mist. Please ride safe. I want to see you all on another ride.

Take care,
Carolynn

Hey Jim. I used your trailer a couple of years ago to take mine and my bestfriends bikes down to Ca! LOL. You know Jeremy with the 04 black (red flames)R1. I told him about our ride yesterday and he was dissapointed that he missed it. Are you still willing to help him out with the valves? I thought that was funny, I knew of you before I met you! LOL Small world.
