Just wondering if any of you are divers? I dive and have a couple friends I dive with but would be fun to get more people together and plan a big dive trip.

A lot of my friends from So Cal learned how to dive right before we moved up here. I believe my best friend even went to school to become a dive instructor, but I never got into it.

Ya I am working towards my dive instructor credentials. Currently certified with SSI, at Master Diver atm but trying to progress further. I personally haven't had much time as of late to dive, however the 17th-21st of this month my dive buddy and I are doing a Channel Islands trip with Rogue Scuba. If anybody wants to get on board the cost for the trips is only 600 and looks to be a great time. Hit me up if you would like more information and I will get you connected to Paul or Rick to get you set up to go.

I dive but I prefer the warm water. I've done a few spots in Puget Sound and it's COLD but I don't own a dry suit so who's fault is that? I'd be up for a group dive but due to work schedule would need a 2-3 month lead time. I can bring Nitrox if we're not going below 90'.

It's just tougher for women with all the gear they need. My wife got drysuit certified here in Monterey bay, never went back. We usually just go to Hawaii, but have been to GBR, Florida, Cook islands for warm water stuff.

Have a house on Kona, but the best diving I've found is Maui around Molokini crater.

Molokin is cool but you gotta get over to Lana'i and hit the Cathedrals and wash rock.

If you really want to get the good Hawai'ian diving, it's off to Ni'ihau from Kaua'i between May and Sept-ish. (the rider back would kick the shit out of you during the winter).

It's about 2 hours out and 2.5-3 back in, but it is worth it. Amazing.
