| Endorsed Joined: May 2009 From: Klamath Falls I Ride: like an old man | Got pulled over tonight , the cop said he "heard me" speed racing , he also said ,which is an absolute untruth, that I was weaving through cars. I was at the light in front of walmart, a little sports car reved his engine and so did i , very loud but not illegal according to the leo's I asked about the header before I even bought it. I didnt weave , I was at the front of the line with no cars in sight. I went up and over the bypass still on washburn and here HE COMES doing prolly 100 over the hill to try and catch me , I was doing the speed limit which was 45, he clocked me at 45 on his radar gun. He asked , "do you know why I pulled you over" I replied "because my exhaust is very loud?" The ticket is $427.00 , my business revolves around construction and as you all know there is none here so I really can't afford this bs ticket, any thoughts or advice ,other than changing pipes? Worst case scenario I could see, if the cop claims he "heard you racing" you say "I was sitting at the red light, and the driver of the car next to me asked if he could hear how the bike sounded, so I reved it once while we were waiting". |

I am like 7-0 so far, and havent gone in a while......strangely enough, I have never been pulled over on the bike. |

Meanwhile back at the ranch , i got another for not using a blinker , everybody needs a hobby rt? The stater said " sportbikes and radar detectors arent a good combo" i said "maybe not for you " lol oh well fkem and feedem fish! |

The first time, I was riding the DRZ in back, with Sm0ke on his R1. I just kept to the speed limit, and Sm0ke was safe. Second time, I was on the R1, and noticed a pair of headlights right behind the DRZ. Sm0ke was hoping I wouldn't do something stupid on his bike. Perhaps it's just the loud thumper that I've got, but they're just coming out of the nowhere - almost like cockroaches! |

Checking my radar detecor all the while , I was not going as fast as it could of. Here comes the lights playn my fav tune too. Long story short , no ticket, Leo said ,slow down. I told him that we go out of town so we arent endangering anyone but our selves. He was a nice guy and a gentleman. Thanks my brother of another mother! I did have to get the last word in , its my nature, told him he wouldnt CATCH me again , got a laugh from him. |

It tried to stall out, got the revs up, to a merry 4k, redlines at 4.5. Who the hell races in a 8000 pound truck with a camper trailer? Those were all last week. |

The other cop that told me and the wife to slow down showed up to put his 2 cents in and the judge told him to be quite and that the 2 are not related. I told the judge what really happened , Cop yelling at me to get on the ground with his hand on his gun, I told the cop , I cant hear u ( mp3 and helmet ) hoping he would calm down, the cop says , No ur honor thats false , I said thats bs your honor , he made me get on the asphault for 45 minutes, Judge asked him well what did u tell Ahab then? Cop says in a quiet voice , Get on the ground, lol. The truth was told by me now that my buddy that WAS racing a car is now in the Air Force. I told the judge that had he not been so focused on me he would of seen the 2 racers about an 1/8 of a mile ahead of me. The judge ruled in fav of the cops on every ticket in the courthouse yesterday but told me she needed to think about my case and would notify me via mail of her decision. We will see , wish me luck! |

Go directly to jail!, Do not pass go, Do not collect $200.00 No joke on the jail part! Bail $500 Oh well, live and learn right?  Oh did I forget to mention that I was on my way to Medford to go to court..... |
