LEO interruption tally - 2009
Well, for us here in Klamath, we seem to be getting a good deal of visits made from the LEO's.

Current Report:

Who - Vehicle - When - Result - Why
SV650Roach - 08 CBR1000RR - 2-22-09 - No Ticket - Scrubbing in Tires
SV650Roach - Subaru WRX - 3-4-09 - No Ticket - "Racing"
Sliver - Rented Carolla - ? - Ticket - Speeding
Edward - 08 GSXR1000 - ? - No Ticket - Speeding (42 in 25)
Humboldt9R - Mustang - 3-12-09 - No Ticket - Speeding (70 in 55)
BSDudley - Tundra - ? - ? - Speeding?

I know there is more! And some of this information needs to be updated.
So, let's start a running tally of LEO visits!

I'm not claiming warranted or not warranted, I am simply keeping a tally! Thanks for your retarded post tho!

One intention I have is to show that just because you get stopped doesn't mean the LEO is going to be a jerk and write you up. On the list, most have not been ticketed. See, not all LEO's are overpowered jerks.

Pfft...that racing one was BS. The cop was just bored and thought he had probable cause. I'm pretty sure 8 people standing around and not knowing what he was on about convinced him he didn't see what he thought he did.

...my car going from ~30 to 60 to 0 mph in 100 yds of non-linear driving ...

Good thread...

You guys just better expect a high amount of traffic tickets now, both in Oregon and California. Have you seen the state budgets?!?!?!

The LEO are going to be on a "mission" so to speak, to raise money for our sorry ass states. Sorry in the fact of overspending and undertaxing....

Basically you guys are all paying extra "taxes" this way...

1. Never admit anything
2. Go to court, every time.
3. Fight, and win.
4. Call me if you have any questions...

I am 7-0 versus the local donut eaters in the past 10 years....in court. I can help you.

Traffic enforcement costs more than it makes. Try being on a mission to get correct information.

In the past 40 years I have one ticket which was un beatable, out of maybe 25. Fight always, use straight forward tactics, don't BS them.

See, now if the wife and I were still following you guys, slowing you down, you may not have gotten stopped lol. At least you just got a warning though, so that's cool lol.

She rode on the back of the Fazer for the ride, but then we broke off when we hit Bly and came home so she could take out the EX for a while. I followed her to Chiloquin and back yesterday. Each time she goes out, she starts getting a little more confident. By the end of summer she'll be riding around pretty good I think.

She's still riding pretty slow in the corners, which is fine, but does like to open it up a little on the long straights.

lol Yeah she's still a little nervous in the corners, being only her 2nd day riding and all, so she was riding a bit slow. She also didn't know I had the video camera going lol. She does much better on Bliss Rd. since she's more familiar with the corners from riding through it so many times on the back of my bike.

Just to let everyone know the locals are running plates and checking to make sure that the registered owner has an endorsement.

They start pulling people over that were doing nothing illegal other than not being endorsed, and I have a feeling they will start noticing a lot more people attempting to run. My son and I both are endorsed, the wife is legal on her permit as long as I'm riding with her for now, so not a problem for us.

Before DQ lol , it does seem to have calmed the lad down a bit , hes a good kid going to protect our freedom soon so I think the judge should dismiss it, in 1985 I got a ticket from a C.H.P. 140 mph , was 2 weeks before boot camp and my dad went with me to court , he told the judge of my leaving to the Air Force , the judge dismissed the ticket , thank you judge and dad.

yeah I got a ticket for 65 in a 55 back in '86 4 days before I was supposed to leave for the Navy (which was a bogus ticket given to me by an officer that didn't like me and wrote me a ticket everytime he saw me even if I was parked and out of the car at the time). Judge didn't dismiss anything, and required me to pay the fine before leaving the building to ensure they got their money before I left for boot camp lol.
