| Training Wheels   Joined: Jul 2010 From: Ellensburg, WA I Ride: HD FXRS, Buell Blast | Iron Horse Trail Motorcycle Show May 5-6 Kittitas County Chapter, ABATE of WA, is getting ready for our annual motorcycle show. Join us at Red Horse Diner on May 5 for a run and May 6 for the big show. Details are on the website: http://www.kittitasabate.org/bikeshow/index.html. Bikes, Bikes, Bikes! This event is all about showing off your ride, meeting other riders, and celebrating the start of the riding season.
All riders and all makes of bikes are welcome. Free admission Sunday. There is a charge for the Saturday run and for the trophy competition. See the flyer on the web site for details. The next planning meeting is Tuesday, March 13, at 6:30 pm at Red Horse. Meetings are open to anyone who is interested in helping out. Planning meetings are announced at the monthly ABATE meetings (First Tuesday at Buzz Inn at 6:30pm). Can you help? We need volunteers to help staff the day of the show. | Licensed  Joined: Oct 2009 From: woodinville, wa I Ride: '02 Triumph Sprint ST | Forgive me for being dense, but the show is being advertised as Saturday and Sunday, but if I'm right, Saturday's events are just informal gathering, a formal ride, and bands in the evening. The real spectator stuff (e.g., Cossacks) are Sunday, right? |

| Training Wheels Joined: Jul 2010 From: Ellensburg, WA I Ride: HD FXRS, Buell Blast | Schedule for May 5 - 6 Saturday is a Poker Run, live music with One Bad Kitty, and camping. Registration for the run is at Noon. Ride around the county with 4 stops, then back to Red Horse in time for dinner and music. Music starts at 6pm. Note: Lots of people work Saturday, and mc shops are open and can't join us. We don't do a lot on Saturday because of low turn out compared to the effort for a small volunteer crew to handle.Sunday is the big show with lots to see for spectators. Vendors, Seattle Cossacks, live music with The Village Musicians, burnouts, etc. Vendors start setting up at 6:30 am. Bike Show registration starts at 10. Music starts at 11. The Seattle Cossacks perform about 3:30. Free Admission! And we are looking for volunteers to help on the day of the show. Direct bikes to parking, etc. |
