2012 Yamaha Super Tenere 4700 miles
The Yamaha Super Tenere is a 1200cc adventure bike. Just introduced into the US market last summer, but has been in European markets for several years now. This is Yamaha's answer to the BMW 1200 GS. Cycle World did a review featuring the BMW 1200GS, Yamaha Super Tenere, and KTM 900 Adventure. Off road KTM did best, Yamaha and BMW were pretty much identical on the road, and the yamaha did way better off road. It's a very cool bike.
The Super Tenere comes standard with ABS and traction control. You can turn off the traction control if you want to, but in my experience it's usually best to leave it on. It's a shaft drive, and is super easy to control because of it's low center of gravity.
Mine is in perfect condition, 4500 miles. Extras include Factory heated grips, Alt Rider crash bars and skid plate, Touratech adjustable windshield mount, yamaha taller windshield and yamaha panniers, and kaoko throttle lock. Title is held by my credit union in Anchorage, Credit Union One. Selling because I have two bikes and this one costs more. 10 months left on the factory warranty, and still extendable.
A new one will run you 14,500, but with no options. Mine has about $2600 in extras. Plus you don't have to go through the arduous process of breaking in a new engine.

What a deal.
What is it with you guys who think you don't have to take a loss on a used bike?
The day you roll it out of the shop you can count on losing 30% or more.
I'll just wait for the future "Price Reduced!" posts.
and of course the dreaded: "<bump>"
