CBR600 Fork Length
I'm trying to figure out the fork length for the 87-90 CBR600F1 for a project. Does anyone have one they can measure for me? Looking for the distance from the top of the fork tube to axle centerline. Thanks.

I've found that list on other sites as well. What I really need is that list but for fork length. Thanks though.

I'll take a measurement when I get home this afternoon. If I remember, of course.

pscook, I was able to get a measurement of approximately 784mm. Can you confirm this? Thanks.

793.75mm with a metal tape measure. I had to account for sag, but the stupid horn is in the stupid way of my stupid triple tree stand. Stupid. Actual measurements were 30.875" w/ .375" sag (that's true sag after topping out the forks, not static sag, FYI for you nit picky SOB's) = 31.25" X 25.4 = 793.75mm. It appears that your measurement doesn't account for sag, but only 9mm difference isn't too bad, right? Oh, this is with the end of the tape hooked over the tip-top of the fork above the clip on, and the measurement was taken at the axle.

The measurement I have is from an unmounted fork and does not include the tube cap. I suspect that the 9mm difference is coming from there. Either way it's close enough that I'm not going to worry about it.

Don't forget that you are asking a complete and utter stranger to take critical measurements. With a tape measure. And converting to metric from standard. This whole operation is fraught with peril.

Two strangers...but the other one provided pics of his measurements . Regardless, we're only off by 9mm so...that's like a bullet.... No worries and thanks for your help.

FYI I'm planning on using these for a fork swap on a '78 CX500.
