1157/1127 outboard bearing-support
OK, this is gonna sound kinda weird for you streetbike guys, but for those with wheelie-bar experience, have any of you ever used or even seen an outboard-support on one of "our" motors? I'm thinking it might be a good idea now that I'm using the 7" slick and leaving on a 2-step. ...but I'm not exactly sure how to go about fabricating one or if I should even attempt it - I'm using a cable-oerated clutch, but it's got the worm-drive "pusher" from a GSXF on the countersprocket-cover and there's not very much clearance for the throw of that arm inside and still have a snout on the sprocket.

I've seen these things on the GS and KZ motors, and there seem to be two different styles/types - a "full" one that covers the starter-clutch area and a "half" one that only covers the countersprocket area. I want to keep the stock starter-clutch in the motor, but I'm wondering if I should try to extend the front of the plate to attach to those bolts at the rear of the starter-clutch cover?

Any photos or ideas welcome.

Yup

I got a pic or two. I'll see if I can find something.
