Going from a full up rolling bike to pull an engine, split the cases, and pull the main shaft and CS for inspection 15 hours is pretty close. It is not rape. You have to tear the entire bike down to do the work. With a 10 year old bike I would look for a full up engine out of a trashed bike and do a full swap vs going in deep. Post a wanted ad on a road race forum. Those guys pack rat engines and usually know where one is hiding (Example: I have two 2004 R1 engines on the shelf)

My bike is fixed. It runs awesome. And since I got into an accident in my van, he expedited the final repairs on the bike so that I could have some form of transportation. The transmission runs smooth as ever, and I have zero problems with it now. Great job done, and I am completely satisified. I would totally recommend him to anyone looking to get bike work done. Well worth the trip from Mountlake Terrace to Tacoma. Thanks again Faron. Awesome job man.
